Like a lot of people, I thought the X-Games was cool a long time ago. Back when Extreme Games was on the demo disk for the original Playstation, and Tony Hawk and Andy McDonald were doing cool stuff on skateboards. But lately it has gotten to be annoying to see it on ESPN, because it was either some weird event or too boring.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a born again, die hard fan of the X-Games or anything, but behind this Pastrana guy, I think there are part about this years games that are actually cool again. One thing that always affects me, in any sport, is the atmosphere. When you watch the X-Games this year there are tonns of fans filling up like some random football stadium (looks kind of like Dallas but I don't think it is), it makes it kind of cool.

I don't know, does anybody else think the X-Games might be coming out of a dark era?

And in case you are wondering, the Pastrana guy is the one who has been all over Sports Center (and just now, Leno) as the guy who did a double backflip on a motorcycle. He also won two other events or something, and seemed like a pretty charismatic guy on the Tonight Show just now. Also, Ashley Tisdale was on too.

Yeah, Pastrana is the fucking man.

I watched some shit last night, like big jump skateboarding or something? It was fucking ridiculous, the drop in looked like it was 80 feet high or something.

My bad, I meant double backflip. But yeah, some of the events this year are somewhat interesting to stop on for a few minutes when nothing else is on. I think they just need a few more faces and it might be credible again.
