JBL's In-Ring Career Over?
 

So, whats this news all about. I haven't watched wrestling, or more specifically Smack Down! in a long while. I've read at a few sites that he's officially done with wrestling, and will now just be the colour commentator for Smack Down!

When the hell did this happen, and why did he retire? I know he had something funky wrong with his back years and years ago.

SO whats the story, or did he just get sick of wrestling ala Chris Jericho?

Back, neck or shoulder injury... I forget which one.

And to my understanding yes he is done with wrestling.

I thought he was just having some time off. But I can understand why he would be sick of wrestling.

You often get sick of things you suck at.

Thank god he is done wrestling

Now, if only he would develop permanent laryngitis (i.e. throat cancer).

Respect the skills.

He's a TNA mutant. Forgive his retardation.

Much like half of the other announcers on TV.














Note how I didn't confine that to any one brand or promotion.

He's still the best announcer on RAW or SD. He's good for a couple of good lines every show still.

Like "Last week they defeated Scotty 2 Hotty as well as Funaki, who is from Korea."

So does JBL. During GAB JBL was a bit annoying.

It's just his reason is "Impact! or a PPV is on."
