Hogan Almost Blew Out Knee On "Regis?"
Date Added: August 11, 2006
Story By: Ben Johnson
LL of PWInsider contributed notes for the below report:

Hulk Hogan told Bubba The Love Sponge that he almost blew out his knee on "Live With Regis & Kelly."

Hogan said in an interview on Bubba's Sirius Radio show that Philbin almost blew the knee out while helping the wrestler step down from a box on which he was dancing.

The Hulkster was careful not to bend his knees while dancing, but getting down from the box almost made that precaution worthless.

Hogan, who will be wrestling at Summerslam, also said that Vince McMahon was shocked he agreed to wrestle with an injured knee.
Prediction: Hogan will blow out his knee while going up the steps before his match against Orton.

I hope he does

Remember WrestleMania 3? When the main reason they had those cart things was for Andre?

Expect to see them return at SummerSlam. :shifty:

Is there some kind of race to see who is more injury prone between Nash or Hogan? :wtf:

Jaton 08-12-2006 05:28 PM

Let's see. Nash tears a quad walking, and Hogan screws up his knee getting off the couch.

Clearly, Hogan is the victor.

Nash and hogan would be good competition for the tag division

Mostly because they'd be asked to lay down and they'd both mysteriously be injured.

Corkscrewed 08-12-2006 07:26 PM

OMFG, if that isn't a sign to him that he needs to hang up the boots, then he's even more self obsessed than I could have imagined (and trust me, that's a lot).

Man, I rarely wish harm on people, but if Hogan injures himself in the middle of his match with Orton, I will laugh my ass off.

God. I'm surprised the HBK Larry King skit hasn't made on here yet after this.

If this injury is anything like what I'm thinking it is, then believe me, it's the most mysterious injury ever gotten. A torn meniscus, which can happen anytime. A family member of mine had gotten the same thing had a similar incident a few months ago when her knee just "popped" as loud as it could and she was in the biggest pain ever, and all she was doing was washing clothes when it happened. ANd from what I've been told about it, it fucking HURTS, and it can require surgury because it can't heal up naturally like some other bones can.

Believe me, when you think about some of the facts that are out there concerning this injury, it's not as mysterious as it seems.

I would mark for that. But then I'd be pissed when I realized I was about to see another Hogan match.

I just found an exclusive photo from The Ruse Report showing the moment before all these problems for the Hulkster started.

I, and many others here, have said this regularly, but I will piss myself if Randy Orton no-sells Hogan at Summerslam.

What's Hogan going to do? What is the WWE going to do?

VINCE: Well, Randy, you made Hogan look like a bitch, thus you are the biggest thing in wrestling at the current time, we're going to cut you loose.

Orton should fuck up Hogan at Summerslam, put the old fuck in his place and really make Hogan regret coming back for more ego feeding.

I have a feeling Orton is going to be cheered at Summerslam, anyway. House shows have shown Orton getting pretty loud pops. I'm not sure how smarky Boston is, but hopefully they boo the shit out of Hogan, or we at least get some duel chants going.
