Who are the gods of music?

So i watching a TV thing on Tupac, and i realized how much of an influence he had on music in general. Some people use music as an art, an expression, other (like Lil' Jon, basically every mainstream rapper now) use it to make money.
The good die young, thats for sure. So who do you guys think are really gods of music? Tupac has got to be one for sure.

OssMan 08-13-2006 01:32 AM

i dont give a shit

Shaved Monkey 08-13-2006 01:49 AM

Jim Morrison deserves a mention.

Sickboy 08-13-2006 05:08 AM

Justin Timberlake... because he's bringing sexy back.

Also, Macho Man Randy Savage, he changed the rap music into more acceptable and easier to approach with his new sound and intelligent, political lyrics.

That's a damn solid list. I'd add Chuck Berry and Bob Dylan to that. And possibly Clapton, as well.
