JPG files problem

Some idiot here did something on my PC so know I can't preview any JPG files before opening. I know they changed what programme opens them but I don't know what programme was opening them to start with. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this so I can get previews again? Cheers.

on windows. like when you click on a file to highlight it and it appears in the left side of the screen in preview with the file details and sh</>it.

Tools > Folder Options

Under the general tab enable this option under the heading of " Web View":

Enable Web contents in folder

Already there. It works for every other type of file other than JPG

How odd. Seems to work for me. Just for the record the program that opens up jpg files on default for me is: Imaging for Windows

Other then that my friend i really do not know what the problem is for you :\

Nope that don't work either. All the other programmes seem to open up JPG files fine but no more previews

Just play around with the folder options and whatnot. As well as how files are viewed when you open a folder (e.g. thumbnails, details, large icons, small icons, etc)

Tools> folder options> File types> select jpeg > click "change" > select "windows picture ans fax viewer"

All was good until the "windows picture ans fax viewer" part. It's not there.
