Which wrestler do you like that you know you shouldn't?

I think it is obivous that my choice is Kevin Nash and the One has Billy Gunn.

What is yours?

Xero 08-16-2006 01:48 PM

The Undertaker.

I know the guy isn't working as he used to, and is fairly sloppy now, but I still love the guy and any time I go to a show and he's there it's always a really great experience.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 08-16-2006 01:51 PM

Any talentless big man from the last 15 years.

Shadow 08-16-2006 01:54 PM

Jeff Hardy.

Minus going to a show, basically the same thing here.

RVD

The hasn't been that good in the past 5 years yet I still can't find my way off of his band waggon.

Chavo Classic 08-16-2006 02:49 PM

The Sandman.

He's just a bit mental, isn't he?

Rammsteinmad 08-16-2006 02:56 PM

TEST!

But the thing I wanna know, what is the deciding factor in what we "should or shouldn't" like?

Why shouldn't I like Test? Because other people don't?

Xero 08-16-2006 02:59 PM

I like Test. :shifty:

Stickman 08-16-2006 03:13 PM

The Masterpiece

wrathchildCEW 08-16-2006 03:19 PM

Justin Credible. Just for his WWE entrance theme. I dunno why, I just really like it.

I think he means guys that are past their prime, have bad gimmicks or just aren't very good wrestlers, but still appeal to you for some reason.

Guys such as Snitsky, Konnan, Stevie Ray, Eugene etc.

I used to have a soft spot for Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly, but I've fully recovered now.

Chavo Classic 08-16-2006 03:23 PM

Doug Basham!

Kane Knight 08-16-2006 03:27 PM

That depends. Is Triple H in or out of fashion these days?

I like Trips and Michaels, but both seem to be largely liked by fandom. That changes fairly often, since Shawn Screwed BRet (waaaa) and Triple H is ruining the business. I like Matt Hardy, who the internet fans turned on (for using the internet) a while back, and I'm not sure it's become "okay" to like him again.

I don't know. Who does everyone hate? Who shouldn't I love? Anyone got a list so I can come up with a better answer?

Fox 08-16-2006 03:31 PM

Apparently (according to a majority of TPWW posters) I'm not supposed to like anything TNA-related, so I'll go with TNA wrestlers. All of them.

Chavo Classic 08-16-2006 03:32 PM

I'll fill in for Skippord: Chris Sabin!

Arnold HamNegger 08-16-2006 03:46 PM

Before he was taken off TNA, I was really starting to like Austin Aries.

Chavo Classic 08-16-2006 03:55 PM

Oh, but he's coming back!

also, its ok to like Aries. He's an independent wrestler therefore it's cool to say you like him. Just like all the CM Punk fanboys who have recently come out of the shadows.

Apparently, you're trying to help prove the stereotype that TNA fans are idiots who will cheer even the janitor.

He DID say he picked ALL the TNA wrestlers.

That's just fucking stupid. They're not ALL good (they're not ALL bad either), and saying they are is just blind markism.

And before anyone says anything, I, and many others have stated that TNA DOES have good wrestlers, so don't try to turn this around on me.

Jordan 08-16-2006 05:27 PM

Diesel for sure. But now Sabu, im pretty much obsessed with him, he should main event Summerslam as far as im concerned.

Yeah, it's just the blind markism most people mock. That and people who actually think the shot is innnovative becaue ofa six sided mat, or mindlessly praise everything they do.

Actually, it's unfortunate that they have good wrestlers, because they're like WCW lite, which means good wrestlers and shitty, bland booking (And a worthless motherfucker on top)

Gertner 08-16-2006 05:44 PM

Masters

Disturbed316 08-16-2006 05:56 PM

Goldberg.

Was such a mark for him back in WCW, but not when he arrived in WWE.

When!?! That's awesome. I hope they let him stay with that ridiculously flamboyant style he was starting to develop. That cracked me up for some reason.

Team Sheep 08-16-2006 06:38 PM

Vito.

St. Jimmy 08-16-2006 07:38 PM

I still like Mysterio, but hate the never ending using Eddie storyline. Also, a forgotton gimmick, I loved the Goon. I'm a big hockey fan, so it was cool to see a hockey player wrestler.

Don't you ever say an unkind word about Sean O'Haire and Mike Sanders...but yeah, I now what you mean.

Shadow 08-16-2006 08:46 PM

Hey...NBT was the best damn group of rookies WCW's Powerplant ever produced. They were a great group and if WCW hadn't had folded when it did...who knows what would've happened with that group.

Charlie Haas. Whereever the hell he is right now.

The One 08-16-2006 09:00 PM

Billy Gunn, Kevin Nash, JBL.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again...

You hate them, I love them...but I'm right and you're wrong.
