Rate the Tag Team - Week 56 - Too Cool
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...02/Toocool.jpg
Word up pimps? Me? Just chillin. Pretty ripped. So anyways I am doing a RTTT drunk so lets see how it goes. Last week we rated the team of MNM. I thought that they would be shown more love than they were. They scored a terrible 63. I thought since they were a "newer" team that they would score higher then say The Headbangers or Pretty Wonderful, I was wrong. Anyhow let's get to this weeks team!!! This team was like no other. They were a hip hop tag team that were better at bustin a move then wrestling. They were decent in the ring but the WWE never really let them show their talents. They were more of a comedic tag team than anything. Despite all that they were still very entertaining and were a big part of the WWE tag team scene. They even won the tag team titles a few times. This is Grand Masta Sexay, Scotty Too Hotty and Rikishi. This is the team once known as Too Much, this is TOO COOL! <select><option>RTTT History by Week <option>Week 1: The Rockers (87) <option>Week 2: The Dudley Boyz (82) <option>Week 3: The American Males (39) <option>Week 4: Power and Glory (62) <option>Week 5: The Road Warriors (97) <option>Week 6: Harlem Heat (91) <option>Week 7: Twin Towers (62) <option>Week 8: The Hart Foundation (96) <option>Week 9: The Steiner Brothers (93) <option>Week 10: The Eliminators (83) <option>Week 11: The Headbangers (68) <option>Week 12: Pretty Wonderful (69) <option>Week 13: Strike Force (85) <option>Week 14: The Brain Busters (94) <option>Week 15: The Killer Bees (63) <option>Week 16: The World's Greatest Tag Team (85) <option>Week 17: The Bodydonnas (62) <option>Week 18: The Hardy Boyz (90) <option>Week 19: The Impact Players (82) <option>Week 20: The New Age Outlaws (88) <option>Week 21: Doom (63) <option>Week 22: Men On A Mission (41) <option>Week 23: Triple X (81) <option>Week 24: The Nasty Boys (77) <option>Week 25: The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (80) <option>Week 26: The Outsiders (86) <option>Week 27: The Insiders (44) <option>Week 28: The Rock N' Roll Express (96) <option>Week 29: Owen Hart and British Bulldog (91) <option>Week 30: America's Most Wanted (62) <option>Week 31: The Dream Team (75) <option>Week 32: The Boogie Knights (47) <option>Week 33: The Collosal Connection (66) <option>Week 34: The Thrill Seekers (56) <option>Week 35: The British Bulldogs (98) <option>Week 36: The Minnisoda Wrecking Crew (90) <option>Week 37: The Pitbulls (53) <option>Week 38: The APA (78) <option>Week 39: The Hollywood Blondes (87) <option>Week 40: The Naturals (61) <option>Week 41: The Powers of Pain (55) <option>Week 42: Edge and Christain (95) <option>Week 43: Money Inc. hillarious and got the crowd into matches.

One of my favourite teams in the last 10 years. |
I think they are one of the best tag teams I have ever seen. I can not think of something more stupid that made a ton of easy cash and got the fans involved, even more then bWo...Anyway I want give them a perfect 10 just because I am such a huge mark of them, but I just don't think they warrent a perfect score. So I will give them a...
9.5 |
10 until the Rikishi shit. They had an awesome gimmick and were mad funny.
So a 6. Because Rikishi sucked. |

Never liked them. Together and apart they annoyed the hell out of me. I despised this team. Even today I can't stand watching Scotty wrestle. The only thing that saved them from getting a 1 was that when they started, the gimmick was meant to be wiggerish and annoying since they were heels... But then it caught on.. BLEH! Plus, I never really liked Rikishi either. You know who was WAY cooler than these guys? PG-13. |
They were only popular because retards like the people who rated them above a .1 were entranced by a fat man in a thong dancing and the W-O-R-M
They were cool as Too Much, and then annoying as heels as too cool. But without the phat ass (pun intended) they would have never went anywhere. Seriously, they werent popular until Rikishi joined them in the post match dance. Any success of theirs should be attributed to rikishi and the stink face. 1 |
7. I really found them entertaining, and I loved the gimmick.

Best part was Grand Masta Sexay shoveling his way down to the ring.

7.5
They were sort of cool, but not too cool (excuse the bad pun) I liked the dancing, and the worm was the coolest looking move for me, for a long time. |
So badly do I want to give them a zero. But they don't deserve that. They made money, lots of it. hell Vince still keeps Scotty just because of how much money they used to make. I hate them, but they were over.
5 Damn I want to give a zero. |

You know... they were a decent team. Pretty good, actually. Their gimmick wasn't too bad, for one of those intentionally annoying gimmicks.

6.5 - entertaining, but lets not get ahead of ourselves and think they were that great.

they entertained |

7. Decent and funny.

Since they stopped being Too Much, 8 for me.
That gimmick just sucked. |
10. I loved them. One of my top 5 favorite teams of all time.
(P.S. "Minnesota") |
I can't believe this 10. Becuase they captured my heart during my markish phase.

I really liked Too Cool. Royal Rumble 2000 :) |
7/10. Scotty and Sexay could actually get the crowds excited, even though Rikishi.... Rikishi rubbed his ass in things.
|
A cool 6.5. They were really over. Their style was great for the WWF's Attitude era. They were pretty entertaining too.
It's funny because they had the same gimmick as Cena, only theirs was more believable than Cena's. They were hilarious, and not meant to be taken seriously (How can you take two white guys acting that ridiculous serious?) I heard there's a chance they could reform in the WWE. If the WWE hadn't crapped all over their tag team division in the past few years I'd be more excited. Also, does anyone else remember changing Too Cool's apperance in No Mercy for the dance at the end? Making them look like Undertaker, Kane, and Vince was hilarious. Or making Sexay and Scotty super fat and Rikishi thin was awesome too. |

hillarious as heels.
hated them as babyfaces, especially with Rikishi. 5 |

10. It was greatness, overall. If Rikishi lost his weight and GMS was dependable, they might still be an entertaining factor.

When you look at the tag teams we're stuck with today, and the oddjobs that are thrown together, I'm actually thankful for this gimmick and the memories. TURN IT UP!!! |
