Heat between Guerreros and TWGTT

Eddie Guerrero apparently injured his arm at the Smackdown taping this past Tuesday during he and Chavo Guerrero's match against The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin).

Word is that the two teams have serious heat between them and that because of that, the match for Smackdown was a little stiff, causing Guerrero's arm injury.

After the match, Eddie Guerrero and Charlie Haas apparently had a brief incident that was quickly broken up. Some took the side of Charlie, saying he had the right to stand up to the often aggressive Guerrero, while agents and management took the stand that "veterans are to be respected."

I say put them in an octagon shaped cage and let them fight it out until one of them is killed...or at least beat up pretty bad :)

Eddie shoulda run over TWGTT with the low rider.

This sounds like something that is being blown out of proportion.

Its a physical business, sh!t happens, I'm sure they'll work it out.

If there was a fight, I'll put my money on WGTT.

No doubt about it. Would barely even be a fight.

Yeah, it sounds way blown out of proportion. I think they just decided to make the match look more "real" than what they usually do. They took moves full on. Charlie nailed one too hard and Eddie got upset after the match. Chavo defended his uncle. Charlie didn't know what to do, but defended himself by hsaying that it was Eddie's fault too. Then it got broken up before anything at all could happen. Both sides will be working again professionally next week is my bet.

Eh, whatever. I like all four guys, but I think this was prolly blown out of proportion too. I doubt there'll be much to come out of this, but it might make for some good caption jokes.

As reported earlier, Eddie Guerrero and Charlie Haas got into a brief fight backstage at the Smackdown taping on Tuesday. We have since gotten some more details.

Guerrero was already suffering from what was believed to be a seperated shoulder on Tuesday. At the taping, he and Chavo faced Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin. Haas was apparently not aware of Guerrero's injury and thus worked his shoulder/arm area too stiff, causing further injury.

Afterwards, Guerrero got mad at Haas backstage for working too stiff and the two exchanged punches. Chavo Guerrero also got involved in the fight before it was broken up. Guerrero further hurt his shoulder/arm from the fight, but isn't expected to miss any ring time.

Jim Ross and John Laurinaitis then calmed everyone down and had everyone involved apologize and shake hands.

Seems typical of Eddie to pick a fight. Eddie shouldn't be one to complain about wrestling stiff sometimes.

RP 06-17-2006 10:39 AM

Obviously we now have suspects in Eddie Guerrero's death.

RP 06-17-2006 10:45 AM

And i'm pretty sure Rakishi was involved too. We should get Dr. Mark Sloan on the case.

You resurrected a three year old thread for that?
