I am not a fan of Mysterio. At all. But the guys sells merch. I never realized it until I recently went to a show. The merch line was filled with little kids wanting the same thing. Rey masks. Huge loss for Rey, and the WWE.

As a Mysterio fan, a huge bummer, and another blow to smackdown. But storylinewise, thank god this is coming to an end.

Probably the best thing for Rey is to take time off. I mean it's a no win situation to continue this angle. This way when he comes back he can start something fresh. Hopefully by that time people will stop chanting Eddie's name.

And Smackdown loses another star.

They've lost Eddie, Angle, Mysterio, and JBL. All they need to drop now is Undertaker, Booker T and Batista and they'll officially be Thunder 2006.

They were before the rash of injuries, liver problems, and MArk Henry were an issue.

This is probably the best thing for Rey Mysterio's career to be honest. He's going nowhere but down on SmackDown!, at the moment.

I'm probably the only person that would do this, but I think they should turn Rey Mysterio heel before he goes. Have Rey call out Vicki Guerrero on SmackDown!, and tell her to stay out of his way. Have Mysterio claim Vicki cost Rey a match, and Rey takes this business very seriously. Finally have Rey state this isn't about her, or even Eddie, she needs to get off SmackDown! before he causes any more trouble. Rey tells Vicki to stop stealing his spotlight, this is his time, not a Guerrero's. Chavo runs out and hits Rey in the knee with a baseball bat.

I think they need to have Chavo Guerrero play a babyface. They are stacked to the brim with heels. Unless they do The Undertaker vs. Chavo Guerrero at No Mercy, which I doubt they will, and I doubt Taker will lie down for Guerrero, so it's probably not a great idea, anyway.
