Your Madden 07 Superstar Career
 

Not to clutter up the other thread, post what happens in your superstar career in Madden 07.

I made a QB and tried out for the Lions, Buccanneers, and Browns and got drafted by the Browns. I don't like the Browns so I demanded a trade and went to the St. Louis Rams which suits me just fine.

Skipped through Preseason and we won our first game against the Cardinals 27-10 in which I passed for 3 TDs.

Just lost to the Seahawks and threw 2 INTs.

Just got drafted by the FUCKING CHARGERS

Oddly enough i rolled a CB and got drafted in the 3rd round by the Colts. I'm like 5th on the depth chart and only play in dime packages and kick coverage and punt returns.

Only had 11 tackles and 2 fumble recoverys the first year.Manning got injured for 10 games and Jim Sorgi was horrible. We finished 5-11. Chargers won the SUperbowl.

I'm still 4th on the depth chart in season 2. Pretty much the same rolls. I'm rated 81.

Then I demanded a trade and went to THE FUCKING RAIDERS

Immediately after that I stopped playing and turned it off now I play for the Vikings

I'm gonna pick up Madden 2007 tommorrow so this should be interesting.

I never played Superstar mode before. I made a QB and got drafted to the Chiefs. Put him in 2nd half, and all of a sudden the camera angle was focused on him and I couldn't see a thing. Is there a way to change that? And if not, does that mean my player is gonna do shitty? Cause I threw 2 interceptions in a row cause I couldn't even see the receivers on the field.

Nope, camera now focuses on your player. That's why I'm hesitant to make a QB

Recorded 1 tackle in a half of regular playing time first preseason game. Also nearly got another on kickoff coverage, but because you have to dive like a retard I missed it.</font>

<font color=white>How did you try out for teams? When I was having a quick look at Superstar mode, there was agent signings, practices, combines, interviews etc but no try outs. Am I missing something here?</font>

It's before the draft you have workouts and you wear 3 different uniforms.

This was on 360 so I don't know if PS2 is different or not.

Nope workouts are the same on PS2. Although there's no bench press, and I think the 40 yard dash is slightly different.

Do you guys use CPU control/speedup or do you take over the other side of the ball? I like the CPU control because it makes it more realistic.

I would use CPU control except for the ridiculous fucking bug that makes the QB randomly launch it backwards about 50 yards

RB, drafted by the Packers R3P3. About halfway through the first season and I've broken 1000 yards and am leading the league :cool: Though it's more because I'm averaging about 30 carries a game (I'm on the field for every single offensive snap, which is pretty cool). My average ypc is hovering around the low 4s because the interior of the O-line sucks balls and the play-calling is fucking retarded sometimes (at one point I was getting about 10 draw plays a game).

Currently 7-1, only loss being at home to the Rams :$ even though we managed to beat the Eagles away on MNF. Almost lost a close one in Miami due to above mentioned retarded playcalling and Favre just throwing wherever he feels like it.
