Their tag division is non existent. DX vs The McMahons has now been done to death...there's nothing different. John Cena vs Edge is very...Meh!

The only bright sparks are the re-appearance of Masters and the brewing feud between Orton and Carlito...hopefully they don't fuck those up.

Not holding out much hope though.

I think it is improving. I mean, its not brilliant, but a with the Diva search gone and Lita on her way out things are on the up and up.

I hadn't watched WWE since about March, with the exception of DX returning. I've been watching again for about 2 weeks now and RAW is better than it was before IMO.

LAst night might've been the best Raw in Ages.

It's a hell of a lot better than SmackDown! so I'm not bitching about it.

I don't think it is getting better, but last night's raw was very good.

So no then?

In my opinion, no. The reason for this, is because it's stale. The same wrestlers are in the exact same position as they were 1.5 years ago.

-With the exception of Umaga, no new stars are being elevated (and even in Umaga's case, his "Islander" gimmick just won't draw or create interest for the long term).


With Hulkamania and DX running full force, RAW is relying on past gimmicks way too much.

The only way RAW can really be salvaged at this point, is if Cena turns heel.

Cena is basically a face right now that gets treated like a tweener. Why not turn Cena heel (that gets treated like a tweener?).


Almost all characters are cooler and more original as heels, and Cena is no exception. Allowing Cena to appear on ECW would be GREAT as well.



Smackdown (inadvertently) is getting better:

Isn't it funny how Smackdown had been getting a bit better lately despite their numerous injury problems? (i.e. Benoit, Mysterio, Angle, JBL, etc.).

What these injuries have done, is allow for newer and (more intruiging) characters to get more TV time.

As result, we're seeing more wrestlers rise up within the ranks.


Booker T's character has been refreshed, and the fans love their #1 face in Dave Batista.

As much as we all hate Great Kali, even HE created intrigue with his character.

Lashley, Finlay, Kennedy, and Regal have all stepped up nicely.



Smackdown = new, refreshing, something different....even if the show is underdeveloped right now.

RAW = old, stale, no progression. The WWE needs to turn Cena heel....and not care if Cena gets cheered as a heel. The fans want to see a COOLER character in John Cena.

I hope Cena does go back to smackdown just to give them some starpower and new fueds, and to open the main event scene on raw to something new.

But I know Cena wont move, so he is taking the title and why even watch then?

Raw has been getting worse. The wrestling is terrible and its the same storylines week in week out. Smackdown! on the other hand has better wrestling and the more enjoyable show.

I think you got them backwards besides the wrestling being not very good but still better show than SmackDown!
