Official Chris Jericho on Celebrity Duets...

Hey I figure sooner or later one of these is going to pop up...so let's do it.

I thought his first song he was WAY too quite, but his second was ok. I would like to see him do more rock'n'rolla.

(P.S. You can move this to Music or Television Forum if you like...)

lol. He was elminated first. I actually know/like the first song. He did a horrific job for obvious reasons. The second song he did pretty bad too. Jericho is great but he has NO singing talent. Thank God that man has so much charisma because... well... just download a Fozzy song.

Skippord 08-30-2006 01:48 AM

I like Fozzy

#1-norm-fan 08-30-2006 01:57 AM

I like alot of Fozzy's songs...

Skippord 08-30-2006 01:59 AM

I like all but one

#1-norm-fan 08-30-2006 02:00 AM

By that I mean the songs themselves... Jericho's singing voice could not be much worse though. Just listen to "Don't You Wish You Were Me". That's the best showcase of his voice I can think of.

Skippord 08-30-2006 02:20 AM

I like his voice for some reason

The One 08-30-2006 03:13 AM

OK, I made this thread before the show was over...uh...Oops. Yeah, I thought the gymnast was gonna be gone. Oh well. Anyway I guess in order to save this thread...

Fozzy is awesome. To Kill A Stranger is one that I like for some reason.

Enemy people, Enemy

Two things about this.

First and foremost Jericho is a rock singer, not some country dipshit. I hung around for his first song, almost cried because it was so bad, and then flipped back to see he wasn't moving on. Take Steven Tyler, and have him do some hillbilly redneck song. It won't work. Take Kristen Chenoweth and have her sing some Lacuna Coil. Albeit Tyler and Chenoweth are awesome with what they do, they can't go outside of what they do most of the time.

Now that I got that off my chest, music/tv forums :shifty:

Here was what I was thinking when Wayne Brady asked Jericho if he had anything to say after he was voted off.

Brady: Is there anything you like to say Chris?

Chris: Yeah, I wish I would have never left the WWE. :'(

Yeah I thought Jericho would have made it over Carly Patterson.

If you were an Aerosmith fan, you'd know your comparison is false

'Smith started with blues, and also a bit of Rockabilly.

Anyway, Jericho's voice is fine--When he's in a studio and his voice is heavily engineered. Live, he cannot sing. He is not good at what he does, and is the rock equivalent of Ashlee Simpson (Whichever Simpson it was). He is literally the worst member of Fozzy, because everyone else can play live.

you know why they did not let the viewers vote on the 1st show but get to vote on the rest of the shows. they did not want the vote for the worsters to save the worst singer.

Avenger 08-30-2006 02:20 PM

Also cos Jericho would've won the whole thing if we had anything to say about it.

IWC UNITE!

(that is if it were still an option. :()

Avenger 08-30-2006 02:34 PM

lol IWC

the most dysfunctional stable in wrestling history.

Avenger 08-30-2006 02:35 PM

IWC - the biggest heels in wrestling history.

Y2Jeremy 08-30-2006 03:17 PM

they were praising him after every song, but the stuff he was doing was not good at all. I knew he was the worst, but I thought he might move on, until it was down to him and the skater, then I knew it was over.
He should have done something like enemy and don't you wish you were me, or maybe break down the walls acapella.

6to1 08-30-2006 04:29 PM

yea he would be the new master p, we would make sure he wins.

Destor 08-30-2006 04:30 PM

 I'm glad this worked out well for Mr. Jericho.

FourFifty 08-30-2006 04:52 PM

On the bright side I have no reason to watch it anymore.

McLegend 08-30-2006 06:42 PM

Jericho was better then Carly PAtterson. Jericho got screwed.

Los Angeles screw job.

There was a reason to watch in the first place?

My first total agreement with Kane Knight since coming back. *Pulls out the kazzoos*

Also, I'm imagining Steven Tyler singing that first song now and I'm thinking... he could probably pull it off.

It's not going to sound like you would expect or anything but I think he would do fine.
