GTA: Vice City
This game was the shit, its like the best, 'New School Old School' game ever, I remember like playing The Cult while I was in club malibu it had the best 80s vibe ever, fucking amazing.
|

I threw tear gas in the malibu
|
Ahhh the 80's relived through one crazy-assed m'fer, LOL , whats better then flying the hunter down ocean beach blowing EVERYTHING up.
|
SA>VC
|
Why judge between them? Play them both, and be happy that good games are still occasionally made.

That should be the next GTA theme, time traveling. |
Grand Theft Auto : Pluto
Where some crazy-assed alien bent on the destruction of earth, because the dumbass place doesn't recognize his planet anymore. Stealing spaceships and traveling to end up on earth, bad thing is if you flip it over your in for a long fucking walk :p . |
Am I supposed to be laughing or something?
|
Nah j/k I'm cool with you

Vice city is the last game I remember being in awe of. That was the peak of the series. SA and LCS are crap.
Vice City was huge, everyone had it. |
There is no way you've played through all of SA Matthew. No way.
|
Also the reason not as many people have SA as Vice City is that VC sucked and turned people off of the product.
|
I liked VC much better than SA. The story, the music, the cars, the missions. How many people spent countless hours just ramping cars and driving around doing nothing.
SA is "Bigger and better" which isnt always good. |
I have beaten both games with 100% (including non needed stuff) and I find SA to bee better story wise, but vice city had a casual theme to it, but there are missions in both that made me not like them as much as possible (The driver for VC and Supply Lines for SA ). Still its a split but I give SA the edge because you can swim.
|
San Andreas is better

Notice the quotes arounf bigger and better. If hollywood took a great indy film and ha Micheal bay make it "bigger and Better" would it be better? No, and we would see a great movie die in a giant CGI explosion. They just remade the wicker man, and it is shit, and they didnt even change it as muich as I thought. |

I know the exact spot. How sad is that |
San Andreas is WAY better, I just wanted to go all '80s' on you for a moment.
I spend all my time in the S.A desert |
My issue with SA is that it's too big. I've been stuck in the middle of the forrest with just a pushbike for "hours".
Vice City's subcultural reference make it the game for me. The music also. |
I bought the strategy guide for SA because I was missing a few things ( couple of tags, horseshoes or whatever, and I looked at the vehicle page and went through all of it and ramped every vehicle that was possible to get up Chiliad off of it, hardest by far was a tractor-trailer.
|
Yes, SA is obviously better. That's a retarded thing to state as everyone knows it.
I just preferred playing Vice City, as did many others. The whole game just had a better feel to it. |
