What song do you own the most covers of?
 

I was editing a hidden track off an EP onto my MP3 player today, when it got me thinking. It's a cover of "Tainted Love," and probably the fifth I own. I think it may be the most covered track in my collection.

So only actual covers (Not remixes, remixes of covers, or versions with new band members), what do you have the most covers of in your collection?

i think i have about 5 of enjoy the silence

At least 4 of "Enjoy The Silence" (Lacuna Coil, It Dies Today, Gravity Kills, Anberlin).

i only have the lacuna coil one there :'( you should check out the failure one, it is awesome.

What other versions do you have?

got a tori amos, and although it's cheating in the spirit of this thing, i have the 2004 remix of it also. and the lacuna coil one, of course.

Thinking about it, Paranoid may be up there too. I've got 3 covers on my MP3 player, and I think I left a couple off because I didn't like the bands' versions.

My MP3 player's upstairs, so I can only name two, but I've got the Type O version, the Stone Coyotes Version, and one other. I can't remember the artist, but it's more like the original than the others.

I've got several Queen covers, but I don't think any of them, even We Will Rock You, beats out Tainted Love.

Also, TNA Rocks, it doesn't matter if you have "doubles" or not. For example, I do not own the original TL song. Nor do I plan to. Ever. However, I like the Manson and Hyde versions a LOT more.

But you don't need to have an original to have the cover.

Paint it Black covers I have like 15+ of them or so.

I forgot about Paint it Black, but I still only have like...2.

Kick Out The Jams. Got about 4 or 5 versions of it. One with my old band too.
