Favourite video game music
Simple idea really, just list your favourite tunes from a video game. Or if you don't know specific titles, just list off games you like that have awesome music. Try and keep it to original music only (ie. don't say Madden 2004 because it has Yellowcard on it)
As for me, my top 10 favourite tracks would probably be: Legend of Zelda series - Main Theme Donkey Kong Country - Gangplank Galleon Earthbound - Mr. Saturn Theme Chrono Trigger - Spekkio's Theme Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Beginning music (you know, before you press start and stuff, kickin' beat there) Metroid Prime - Data Selection Final Fantasy 3 - Figaro Theme Super Mario Bros. 2 - Overworld music (kickin' bassline :cool: ) Earthbound - Eight Melodies Final Fantasy 3 - Celes' Theme No real order there (except the bottom one, Celes' theme rockssssss), and they probably aren't even my real top 10, just 10 that I really like... I'll probably post more as I think of them. :o |

nice list! For me it would definatel be the NBA JAM games for SNES and Sega! As well the Max Payne game, oh and GTA 3 and VC as well!

Fighter's Destiny has awesome music, so does all the Zelda games, the Lost Woods in the N64 one = sss s s OHHHH yeah and the Zora's Domain one is just sfda;jdaf, I could go to sleep listening to that theme, it is mad hot :love: Rainbow Road is the best MK one too ;) Hmmm, Double Dragon, all the Mario games, Sonic (Emerald Hill and Chemical Plant are my faves), *opens VG music folder* Banjo-Kazooie (all of it), the War theme from Cannon Fodder, the first level on Blast Corps and a couple other ones, DKC (Gangplank Galleon :cool: ), DKC 2 too (I loved the lava one, and the ghost one later on), DKR, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (the music was one of the main things I loved about that game), F-Zero X (AWESOME soundtrack, probably one of the best overall), Goldeneye had some hot tracks, Starfox 64, Killer Instinct and Street Fighter (both II and Alpha 3 I liked, Ryu Ken and Cammy's especially) Megaman 3 had some nice tracks, Monkey Island music was really hot (especially in the 3rd one), the NES TMNT, Streets of Rage II, Turok II (Port of Adia theme), Quake II, Red Alert 2, Secret of Mana (the last boss one is the best of an already awesome soundtrack) and Tomb Raider had some really nice tracks, especially the chase ones. As I scrolled through my collection one of the last ones I noticed was Toshinden on the PSX, that game is probably my overall favorite if I had to choose, all of the themes are just so friggin' hot, especially Duke's, Ellis' and Eiji's, they are easily one of the best things about the game, and I always really enjoy playing it 'cause of those hot tunes. :heart: |

Castlevania Symphony of the Night - Prologue, Dance of Illusions, Dracula's Castle Super Street Fighter II Turbo - Ken's stage, Zangief's stage NHL'94 - Intro music Yoshi's Island (SNES) - castle music Secret of Evermore and Chrono Trigger - can't remember specific songs cuz I haven't played them in years but I know I love the music. WWF Royal Rumble (SNES) - intro theme Probably lots of others that I can't think of right now like Megaman, TMNT: Turtles in Time, Tenchu, Ninja Gaiden, etc, etc, etc, probably think of some more later. I don't play games much anymore. |

Pretty much Any FF game...cept 8 and 10 just cause I hate them. I like the Figaro's bro's music on 3 because Sabin is the man. Castle Doma's music is very gosu also. Hmm lets just say that FF3 is uber and the whole thing is awesome. That will work for me.
