Sylvan in the "doghouse" with WWE
 

Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com reports that Smackdown wrestler Sylvan is reportedly in the "doghouse" at the moment within WWE.

According to reports, Sylvan was said to have been very animated at the Gorilla position (the position backstage just near the entrance area at each event) a few weeks ago trying to lobby for a stronger push. This was said to have been seen by many WWE officials and was not taken well. So, for now, Sylvan is expected to be de-pushed as a result of his actions.

He's been de-pushed the last 3 weeks if you ask me. He got one win and started jobbing.

Too bad it wasn't Rene, because the title would have been funny.

Sylvan was getting pushed?

He was gonna get pushed as the Ambassador(sp?) of Quebec. He was hyped a lot with promos and got one win over Tatanka before he was de-pushed.

He's the big black guy with the Mohawk.

It was the start of one but he never got a chance to get a full push.

Sylvan Grenier. He debuted in WWE in 2003 with Rene Dupree and they were known as La Resistance. A few months later Rob Conway debuted and joined them. Dupree was drafted to SmackDown! in the 2004 draft so he started tagging with Conway. Sylvan was traded to SmackDown! in the 2005 draft and was given a model gimmick(which is what he really was before coming to WWE). He was re-packaged a few months ago as they were showing promos for him as the ambassador of Quebec. He got one win over Tatanka and was gonna get pushed but he didn't get the chance.

La Resistance... how horribly all three of them vanished from our screens. And when's Rene Dupree gonna debut in ECW? :mad:

that whole ambassador to quebec was one of the worst gimmicks EVER. although it did provide jbl many good joke opportunities.

i loved hearing about him jobbing to funaki 2 weeks ago too.

I just loved it when Sylvan ended one of his filmed promo and JBL blurt out "I'd rather be in Rwanda!!"

One logical answer would be next week, when he defeats CM Punk after Shannon Moore interferes, furthering the feud between Punk/Moore.
