Rock reference on House tonight
 

Tonight's ep of House featured House cocking his eyebrow and parahprasing the Rocks "If you smell what the Rock is Cooking?" Catchphrase.

Barely wrestling related, but hell.

Yeah I laughed pretty hard at it. Only thing funnier tonight was Chase doing a terrible Yo Momma joke.

Yeah, I don't doubt it considering Rock is hugely popular but I've never actually watched House.

But yeah, dated but awesome reference. Really the only one I've seen in a movie or TV show...

Pretty much all wrestling references these days are gonna be dated. Because "The Champ is HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR[Fiftheen Minute Break}RRRRRRRRRRR" really can't compare to the "Classics" they had in the Attitude Era. As much as they try and push "Rated R" or ...Uhhh...What else is there?...There isn't a catchy enough catchphrase for a non-mainstream product to appeal to people.

I've heard Carlito's phrase on ESPN before though. ("I spit in the face of people who don't wanna be cool")

House is top 3 on TV, IMO. I was translating spanish, and when I heard that, I completely lost my train of thought due to complete shock.

ESPN is always slipping in other people's catchphrases on Sports Center.

I hear "What?" said on TV all the time.
