Ill Nino

If you haven't heard of them, download "This Time's For Real" and "Have You Ever Felt?'. They rule major ass.

"How Can I Live?" Is pretty good.

I was meant to buy their Confessions album a few months ago, but didn't. Now it's one of my top contenders to get when I get my birthday cash.

Heard some stuff off their first album, which wasn't too bad.

Not heard anything off the newish one though.

Yeah, I have their Revolution Revolucion CD. Haven't really gone out of my way to find any of their new stuff though.

I used to listen to one of thier songs before football games, I can't remember the name though.

Yea Champion I agree that "How Can I Live" is a pretty sweet song. My bro suggested me to get "All the Right Words" and "I Hate You", I've just been too lazy to get them.

El Vaquero de Infierno 02-13-2004 10:57 AM

I got their first album.

Sometimes I like them, other times they piss me off when they start to sound like a Latin Linkin Park.

But the song, With You, usually kicks my ass.

I think Ill Nino is a decent band but to be honest I'm disappointed of Confession, it's not a good album.

Their first one was better. I honestly don't even know where I put the newer one...It got lost in the shuffle (shows how interested I was in it)

I don't really like the new material... they've mellowed out a bit too much. The fun part about listening to Ill Nino, for me anyway, was that it was hard-hitting at times, then it got melodic, and still maintained the Latin feel. I dunno, the new schtuff didn't strike a chord with me.

Speaking of Ill Nino, apparently Max Calavara has utilized their guitarist in the new Soulfly album, claiming he's refound the Sepultura rhythm-lead relationship or something. One can only dream. :'(
