What's Your Favorite Show?

I'm just curious as to which wrestling show everyone is enjoying at the moment. I personally like ECW and think it is the best show right now and will get better.

Destor 09-16-2006 09:33 PM

ECW. Poll?

Crippla 09-16-2006 09:34 PM

Poll's up.

Kane Knight 09-16-2006 10:22 PM

POLE!

ClockShot 09-16-2006 10:31 PM

Does Celebrity Deathmatch count?

HeartBreakMan2k 09-16-2006 10:34 PM

ECW. Hardcore Hangover to be exact. All the matches none of the annoying crap.

Crippla 09-16-2006 10:34 PM

KK, if I may ask, why did you pick SmackDown!? I'm just curious as to what you see and like about SmackDown!?

ron the dial 09-16-2006 11:05 PM

I think Punk is the best thing going in wrestling now, so that's enough to make me enjoy ECW more than anything else out there. More than that, I actually enjoy the ECW product. Sure, it's nothing like what it used to be but that's its appeal. It isn't rooted in the past, but focuses on pushing newer talent. I'd like to see Dreamer and Sandman get a run at the top of ECW as much as the next guy, but I also want there to be stars being created for mainstream wrestling's future.

Caged Heat18 09-17-2006 01:31 AM

I like Smackdown.

Crippla 09-17-2006 01:34 AM

I must agree SmackDown! is starting to improve but it's gonna take more for me to like it better than Raw or ECW at this point.

Fox 09-17-2006 04:05 AM

Definitely ECW. RAW and SmackDown are full of non-sense angles, while TNA is awful thanks to Jeff Jarrett hogging up so much fucking air-time.

purewrestlingfan 09-17-2006 06:27 AM

bullshit foxy boy The ECW u see right now is not the original ECW. It has been hacked by the loins of MR.Mc-buLLSHit-Mahon. The only ECW wrestler on rise is saby no one else not even double World bullshit champ RVD.
Smackdown is better cause there is Mr.Kennedy dot dot dot bullshit Kennedy and the commentary god J Bullshit L.

The Ravishing One 09-17-2006 06:33 AM

ECW

The Ravishing One 09-17-2006 06:33 AM

This thread does look familiar.

purewrestlingfan 09-17-2006 07:06 AM

^^^ ass hole

Crippla 09-17-2006 10:23 AM

I see we have yet another n00b on TPWW.

El Fangel 09-17-2006 02:10 PM

Actually this n00b and yes with the dreaded double 0, has been around before, just by a different name, he is like takerlover/ministery9006, he just came back under a different name, I tend to ignore him, since he made a thread saying ALL and I mean ALL wrestling promotions should join together and live happily ever after.

Crippla 09-17-2006 02:19 PM

LOL. I saw that thread and what was his other name?

#1-norm-fan 09-17-2006 02:24 PM

I chose Raw.

A month ago, it used to just boggle my mind when people would say Smackdown was better than Raw. It was like night and day... no competetion at ALL.

I have to say, the gap is closing. Raw has been incredibly monotonous over the past few weeks and there are actually a ton of things on Smackdown that are appealing to me now. Raw still has the atmosphere and I thought based on that alone, it would always be better but I'm starting to change my mind.

Smackdown kind of has that "old timey" feel to it. It kind of reminds me of a little mid-80's NWA (old school heels, just laid back, it doesn't have that "Big time" feel to it...) and a little early-mid 90's WWF (Lots of gimmicks, JBL's amazing heel commentary... and that new "Tatanka" guys seems like a guy who could have easily been a star back then.... wait....)

Also, Kennedy is entertaining as hell, King Booker is a great mix of old-school heel and crazy gimmick, it's great to have a guy like Lashley on a show that doesn't feel then need to push only older guys therefore, he could realistically be World Champ... unlike on Raw. Also, Jimmy Wayne Yang is greatness.

.44 Magdalene 09-17-2006 07:39 PM

I think RAW's been improving quite a bit over the last two shows or so, or at least it's been alot better to me. ECW's pretty decent but it hasn't been nearly enough to keep my interest like RAW does (though I watch RAW almost religiously out of habit, so trying to keep my attention more than that is difficult). TNA just seems repetitious. I don't know. I can't get too excited about it. I don't get Smackdown...yet.

So I gave this one to RAW.

Crippla 09-17-2006 07:40 PM

Yeah, I actually like Raw just as much as ECW but I wanted to say ECW because I like the way it's been developing so far.

.44 Magdalene 09-17-2006 07:45 PM

By the way...LOL, nobody voted for TNA yet.

Crippla 09-17-2006 07:46 PM

Yeah, TNA sucks right now. I'm not even gonna get into why.

Jonster 09-17-2006 08:08 PM

I chose TNA. I can't watch WWE, as I can't be arsed to keep downloading the shows.

So it gets my vote by default.

Definalty SD!

RAW is to boring, I swear they've been showing re-runs for the past two months.

ECW, well that show is just shameful.

TNA? HA!

Kane Knight 09-17-2006 09:00 PM

To explain myselflf on choosing Smackdown, I barely watch ECW, I haven't watched TNA in months, and Raw is like the LaBrea Tar pit of wrestling: Where legends and good ideas go to die. Right now we have DX vs the McMahons, two wholly original ideas. We have a wigger who was good for about 6 months. We have commentators who don't know a wristlock from a wristwatch, and the most entertaining guy on the show (Carlito) is a bloody midcarder.

Smackdown has a ton of solid matches, a midcard worth watching beyond a couple of individuals, and actually manages to have fewer shitty gimmicks. The only things that have been done to death on the show are Teddy Long and Undertaker. Not everything is 100% entertaining, but I rarely find myself not caring about Smackdown, even when it's not GREAT. Raw and ECW? I normally miss the Main Event runover for the Daily Show, something I could watch on any of the 15 reruns the next day.

Kane Knight 09-17-2006 09:00 PM

...Yes...Myselflf....

It's not me dumbass, I'm not that bad.

Petethegeekstreet 09-17-2006 09:07 PM

CC I have found a common ground between us. Shadow is a dumbass. Finally we can agree on something.

.44 Magdalene 09-17-2006 09:44 PM

Nah, you two knuckleheads combined still come painfully short of Shadow's mental capacity. Hell, even his retarded conspiracy is smarter than you guys. And his conpiracy's Jeff Hardy poster. And his conspiracy's Jeff Hardy poster's Shannon Moore poster.

But nice try, though.

But back on topic, yeah, I'm damn happy the CW is happening. We didn't get UPN down here, so this'll be my first chance to watch Smackdown...ever. I have seriously, not since its conception, watched an entire episode of Smackdown.

Crippla 09-17-2006 09:55 PM

I do agree Shadow is a dumbass but why am I being considered as bad as with Pete?

Petethegeekstreet 09-17-2006 09:57 PM

I am blatantly better than you Crippla, don't kid yourself.

Crippla 09-17-2006 10:02 PM

I do understand I am not that good of a poster but you are in no way better than me.

Crippla 09-17-2006 10:03 PM

You have improved quite a bit though.

Petethegeekstreet 09-17-2006 10:04 PM

2,102 post and not even two dots. How much you wanna bet by the itme I reach that post count I will have that much or more? You're terrible.

Kane Knight 09-17-2006 10:10 PM

JOBBER FIGHT!

Petethegeekstreet 09-17-2006 10:19 PM

Gotsta get over somehow

Crippla 09-17-2006 10:27 PM

Yeah, you know I was wondering what it was like back when KK first came here and he was a jobber.

Petethegeekstreet 09-17-2006 10:28 PM

whats worse than a jobber fight? Jobber stable! DON'T PUSH US. We suck, and we're not afraid to embellish it!
