If you could get one player...

To join your team today, who would it be??

Who could come in and make an imidiate impact??

For the Saints, I'd say someone like Troy Polamalu.. Beef up our secondary with a gamebreaker type DB..

Who you you get??

p.s. Bet $100 buck Diesel Mac say a QB..

Right now for the Patriots I'd want a big time wide reciever like Chad Johnson. Usually though I'd say a defense player, maybe Ed Reed or Julius Peppers

Skippord 09-20-2006 03:54 PM

Probly Julius Peppers

UmbrellaCorporation 09-20-2006 04:38 PM

Polamalu, definitely.

Also, Ray Lewis is up there too.

I see you're a titan fan UC. I feel for you. The way that team has handled everything say the past 2 years has been awful at best.

Anyways, one player...

Mets: Dontrelle Willis
Ravens: LaDanian Tomlinson
Knicks: Tim Duncan

Oh yeah, I forgot about other sports

Red Sox: Johan Santana
Celtics: Tim Duncan or Ben Wallace

Crippla 09-20-2006 06:32 PM

Yankees are perfect but I wouldn't mind another reliever or something.
Celtics need a center so I agree with Stima.

Haha, to be totally honest, I agree with you. The way the Titans have handled their affairs for the last couple of years is embarrassing, to say the least. But at least I can always use the "young team" excuse as a scapegoat. But you're definitely spot on. :y:

OssMan 09-20-2006 07:22 PM

Mets: Johan Santana
Giants: Champ Bailey

Supreme Olajuwon 09-20-2006 09:40 PM

Ed Reed or Dwight Freeney

For the Lions I'd take a solid LB who can play every down and stay healthy. Their D-line is fine, CBs are average but servieable, LB is the weakest part of their defense. This is of course assuming I can't pick a new GM since Millen is the worst GM in the history of the league.

Penguins, just gimme a solid defensive-minded Dman and I'm happy. They have the weapons on offense and a young goalie, just need some defensive help

Crimson 09-20-2006 10:02 PM

Name a player RDD ,what the hell

Cowboys- Tom Brady
Sonics- Elton Brand

:y: Good motherfucking choice.(if you make the playoffs :shifty: )

DrA 09-20-2006 10:58 PM

Fanboy.

DrA 09-20-2006 10:58 PM

Also, I would like to have Terrell Owens play for the Dallas Cowboys.

DrA 09-20-2006 11:05 PM

Seriously, probably Tom Brady.

Nervous Ferret 09-20-2006 11:32 PM

probably Ladanian for the Jets. Not only do the Jets need a running back, but they really need a changeup from the "run up the middle" on 3rd and 6th kind of nonsense

Yankees - probably Santana, but any legitimate arm I would take right now

Erinie Sims is the future nugga

road doggy dogg 09-21-2006 01:12 AM

Kinda worried about his health, that's the only prob. They need LBs that can stay healthy.

BCWWF 09-21-2006 02:39 AM

Twins - Francisco Liriano
Vikings - Randy Moss
Timberwolves - Ben Wallace

RP 09-21-2006 02:48 AM

Colts- Walter Jones

Pacers- Steve Nash

Cubs- I dont think one player will cut it. But if i was choosing for the future, no doubt i'd choose Liriano.

BCWWF 09-21-2006 10:57 AM

No, don't say that! That links Liriano with Prior, and that is a no-no!
