SVR Question
 

I brought SVR (the one with VInce on the cover) a few weeks back I lvoe the game, its great fun if a little lacking in some parts but I was appaled by the shit career mode, it is truly awful.

So I rocked on down to the local game store and found SVR 2006, what I want to know is, is it worth dropping $50 on SVR 2006 or is it the same shit all over again. Keep in mind I think its worth it for a decent (longer than one year and more than one storyline fits all BS) season mode.

Is it worth my cash?

Take it back and wait two months for 07.

SvR06 is better than SvR. But just wait for the new one.

If I recall correctly, the only big differences between SvR and SvR 06 is a more interactive Story mode, the General Manager Mode, the Buried Alive match and the stamina bar (meaning you couldn't just do move after move repeatedly without geting exhausted).

I would get it as it's a great game (aside from some major AI flaws) but with SvR 07 coming up very soon, you're better off getting 07 first and waiting for some clearance sale to pick up 06.

Fair enough, sounds like a plan.

Anyone know the Pacific release date for 07?

Hopefully they wont dumb it down too much for PS2.

$50 for SD vs Raw 06? You can pick it up for like 10-15 pounds at my store now.

Yeah, seriously. $20-30 on eBay even.

Meh, its a New Zealand curse, everything gets here late and its expensive.

Most people on Trademe (our version of Ebay) are still wanting $100 for SVR 06, rip off merchants.
