Lots and Lots of 360 news (Splinter Cell exclusive, Halo RTS, Banjo Kazzoie + more)
Starting things off with a promo video from Rare: Banjo Kazooie (!) looking in a secret door and finding... a new game B-K game from Microsoft Game Studios. Whoot!

Right this 360 thing is intriging me more and more, online play sounds fun so how much is the basic version now then and how much for online ( I know nothing )

I don't know how the prices rate differently there, so I'll go off what I know.
The core system (A 360 without the hard-drive) is $300. Meaning you will HAVE to buy memory cards or a hard-drive seperately. The premium system (360 + hard-drive) is $400, and has somewhere between 12 to 20 gigs on the hard-drive. Also comes with a wireless controller, and a headset. Both systems come with Xbox Silver Accounts, meaning you can do content upload, and message friends. It comes with a thirty-day trial subscription to a Gold Account, meaning you have more access (such as voice chatting, and shit). After the month, it's basically fifty bucks a year. FROM WHAT I KNOW. |
When you make an XBL profile (for Silver) you'll get a month free of Gold; you MUST have a hotmail or msn passport.
Other than that they're selling a $50+ Microsoft Points card that'll give you 13 months of online gaming (good deal). The most important thing is the elimination of credit cards in the equation. |
Man, X06 is fucking amazing:

All I really want from life is an updated SWOS with current teams and the ability to go longer than 20 years. That right there would be marvellous.
