Have you ever caught a foul ball or home run?
 

I went to the last Nationals game of the year and got a foul ball in the 9th inning. We were sitting behind home plate and to the right a little, like 20 rows back and the ball took an impossible angle and went over the little net and hit some guy and then landed right next to us.

So did you ever get one? who hit it? who was pitching?

Got a foul ball when I was a kid. A's were playing the Rangers, forgot who was pitching/hitting.

We we're about to leave in the 8th and so we stood up and I was streching on the stairs and I hear the "crack" and the ball hits my seat and land two steps in front of me and I dive on it.

I've been at minor leue games with no more than 1,000 people in the stands, tried the hardest I could, and still coudn't get one. Came wicked close to a Bernie home run at Yankee Stadium though, like 3 rows up. Some ass woulda reached over me and got it though cause I was only like 14

We had a minor league team back in like 95 (YONKERS HOOT OWLS, HOLLER) and they played in the field like across the street from my house. I went to like every game and must have caught seriously 50 balls. Those were the days.

Never caught a foul ball, but I have gotten balls a few times.

The first was somewhere in the mid-90's, we got seats front row right next to the Twins dugout, so after the third out of some inning Kent Hrbek tossed a ball up to my brother.

Then freshman year of college we went to Kauffman when the Twins played there, and we got a couple balls after BP, but then we sat in left field right by the Twins bullpen, and after Mauer and Santana were done warming up they tossed a ball up to us. When we told Mauer to his us one, he said "What seat are you in?" Badass.

I went to a Rockies game and some kid got nailed in the head like four rows down from me and some other dude came in and took it and everyone booed him

came close a couple times, but nope. I haven't been to too many live games, so that doesn't help the matter either. One time in Seattle, I almost got a Griffey HR ball in the warmups. And then later in the game, same thing, a Griffey HR. Both shots were to almost the same spot.
When Vancover had the AAA farm team for the Angels (now Miz knows my dirty little secret for liking Garett Anderson) I came close a couple times to getting a foul ball, but alas I was toooo drunk to make the catches.

I (attempted) to catch a foul ball at a Blue Jays game in like 99 or 2000, it was off the bat of Tony Batista and I was like 6 rows behind the 1st base dugout and it was coming at me so fast it broke my hand. My buddy who gave me the ticket for free kept the ball.

Caught a Buhner home run in like 1997. Greatest thing ever. And my bro caught a foul ball when I was little and gave it to me. That's it though.

My friend from college almost caught Ortiz's 50th HR, but it was barehanded so he dropped it.

<font color=goldenrod>Only balls I caught were from some local independent league. And I didnt really catch them, if they hit a foul ball the ball goes into the woods. One day I went in there and found like 30 all in the same spot

But yeah, otherwise I've never came close</font>

I almost caught a Bernie Williams home run in the short porch at Yankee stadium. It tipped off my glove and a kid a couple rows back caught it.
