Sega is releasing a free download via XBL Market Place of PSU. If any of you are like me and gave quite a few hours to the PSO in the past (be it Dreamcast, Gamecube, or XBox versions); then you should be hyped to try out this demo.

The demo will be up for download Oct. 11th and 12th and the network will be up for about a week. I'm gonna try my damndest to be online then.

As for the real game's pricing plan, you will required to pay $10 a month to enjoy the game online. That being on top of the $60 price point for XB360 is abit repulsive. It is possible to pay and play the game with an XBL Silver account. And PSO was always $10 a month historically.

PSU will be out Oct. 24.

It is still on PS2. All things considered it's almost a smarter buy.

Unfortunately the beta was delayed a bit but will probably come out tomorrow.. I'll be on a lot, XBL tag is Bajam21.

I'm also definitely getting the game on launch day, I was a huge fan of the other PSO games, so we should coordinate some parties and our friend lists when that hits..

Just downloaded it this morning and have been playing a bit, it seems pretty cool but the beta is kinda laggy/buggy. The final release should be great.

Level 7 and a half, this is addicting and I am totally gonna get sucked in. :o Trying not to get too much nice stuff so I dont feel sad when my beta char is wiped. :p

You know what would be the shit? If XBox guys and PS2 guys can play together.

I am sure they will, it's definitely possible, Final Fantasy users on 360, Ps2, and PC all play together, and since it's got it's own monthly fee I am pretty sure it will be a global thing... I know for a fact PC and PS2 players will be lumped together, but I guess we can only hope it will be all three.

Although I do have some doubts because the game does use voice chat, which might not be possible to bring over from XB Live to other systems.

xbox and japanese players can play together...
pc and ps2 can play together...

Galaxies is pretty cool, you have space combat in addition to regular missions on the planets.

Everquest was good but Im sorry SWG was the shittiest MMO I have played since Runescape, even after Sony "fixed" it.

XBL is down for the day and I am sad.
