Matt Stryker/Striker
What's the deal with there being two Matt Stri/ykers? There was the one that was in ROH during 2004 (at least that's all I've seen of hime), and then there's the one that currently competes in ECW. They are obviously different guys, so what happened to the ROH Stryker?

He's just working Indy dates for the HWA and Clevland All-Pro for the most part.

Which guy was around first? And has there never been an issue with name similarity? I know that they're spelled differently, but I figured that WWE would try and make sure that none of their wrestler's names were so similar to an indy guy's.

Matt Styker has been wrestling since 1998, Striker has been wrestling since 2000. I doubt there would ba an issue with relative unkown about a name he has had longer than their guy.

Matt Stryker, with a -Y-, and the unibrow - is the better one, by FAR. He'd worked for HWA and a bunch of other promotions, and was in the Super 8. I saw Matt Striker work a number of times, including in MLW as Matt Martel. I don't think he's anything special, but hey, to each their own I guess.

It's very easy for common combinations to come up. I mean, Imagine how awkward it was for the Undertaker to discover he'd been using his brother's name for years...:shifty:
