Total War Series
 

Anyone a fan of the total war series? I've only played the first Medieval sparingly, but I've played Rome: Total War quite extensively. There is also Shogun: Total War (centered around feudal Japan) and next month on the 14th Medieval II: Total War comes out.

These games are an awesome mix of turn based strategy (the campaign) and real time battles (which you fight in order to accomplish certain things in the campaign.)

Anyone waiting on Medieval II?

I'm a big fan of the series. I play a lot of Shogun, and Midievil, but I've noticed that the series is pretty glitchy with certain videocards, so I never bothered to try Rome, though I've heard it's pretty awesome.
