GAAAHHH!!!
Why the fuck does NOONE ever mention Pet Semetary? That movie was fucking awesome. |
I love Pet Semetary. The truck scene makes me cringe everytime.
|
It's a really well done horror movie, and one of the best adaptations to a Stephen King book (the first obviously being The Shining.)
Everytime I see a magazine or website do a list of horror movies though, it's always excluded. |
I don't think its included because they usually include the movies that are really cult hits or huge hits. It was just a really good horror adaptation and didnt really have anything iconic or culture changing about it, therfore it unfortunately slips through the cracks and lives in the shadow of other Stephen King works like Shining and It.
Was it a made for TV adaptation or theatrical release? Whenever I think of Pet Semetary, I think about Buried Alive, which I thought was a great flick. |

Horror movies is the one genre where its true that they just dont make em like they used to. I'm not a big fan of Saw and Hostel and all this new rusty, dilapitated torture. I also thought the Japanese remakes got old quick. And before that all the teen horror movies failed to live up to Scream.
