I mean seriously, they are like the perfect way of playing music, the cases can be so cool sometimes and they are such a perfect size to fit in random places.

I have a large Gym bag that I use to take a portion of my CDs around with me, so I'm never out of music, and theres somthing about going to a record shop and flipping through CDs picking a bunch up and buying them.

I hope CDs never get replaced with something else, anyone else with me on this?

Invest in an MP3 player, you douche.

Why bother carrying so many CDs around, when you could have your entire library in one small device, which is much smaller than a CD player?

I got an MP3 player for walking around and shit, but I spend alot of time in cars so I just throw the gym bag in the back, reach back and grap a handful and play em.

There is no point to them. They take up space and can get scratched and shit and then they become useless. I have a bunch of CDs, but I have the music on my computer so that I don't have to bother with the stupid CDs.

I've got so many CD's that I'd hate for them to have to be replaced... So whatever comes, as long as CD's stay, I'm happy.

Fortunately, CDs will be backward compatable for quite some time to come. It'll be a while before you ever have to completely update your library.

I still use CD's often, but what I really want is a CD player that can play MP3 data files for my car.

Though MP3s/MP3 players are far more convenient than CD's, I get far more joy out of the music that I've bought on CD rather than those that I've purchased and downloaded off the internet. I don't know why, but I do, and therefore I will continue to buy CD's.
