Only on Raw (spoilers)
 

So you had Triple H vs Randy Orton again, and Ron Simmons say "DAMN!" again... Only on Raw can the spoilers be pretty much the same two weeks in a row.

Seems that Smackdown and TNA are getting better and Raw is getting worse.

Yeah, how hard would it have been to put HHH vs Edge with Orton as the ref? And where the hell was HBK? He hasn't done shit in 3 weeks now.

Also, the weekly "damn" is already done to death. They should have just let it be a one time thing.

Yeah I was expecting it to be Edge V HBK, but it wouldn't have been that hard to have HHH V Edge would it?

Raw is no longer wrestling, nor is it sports entertainment. It's not a sport, it's not entertaining. It's become nothing but a sitcom.

I dont mind seeing Ron Simmons come out to say "Damn" at something every week but Raw has been on a downhill slide for a while...I can remember when things were looking up just a little while back, back to the Raw with the Joey Styles half-shoot and other instances where it seemed as if they were giving the finger to censors and getting back some of that "Attitude Era" edginess.

But alas...all good things cant last, particularly in the WWE where they cant last beyond two or three weeks.

And I will say TNA is on the rise but i wont give the same credit to Smackdown.

That part where Cryme Tyme stole the promo area flat screen TV was fucking hilarious. I love it when wrestlers pay attention to background props that we've forgotten about. :p

The best part of the show was when we were told by the announcers that staring at a blank screen waiting for the voting was "suspenseful". Really? I would have given another word to describe the mass exodus of viewers after the first 30 seconds of nothing.

Here's a game to play the next time Ron Simmons comes out to say "Damn." When he shows up, flip the channel to something else just before he says "damn." Then, on your other channel, wait for somebody else to say the word "damn," before you change the channel back.

Ok, so the game might not be that fun, but it will give you an excuse to watch something entertaining for once.

I thought exactly the same thing when we had the segment with Big Show, Booker, and Coach. When they were arguing about who should face Cena. And they both said at the same time 'You should face Cena tonight!'

That shit was so sitcom-ish it just pissed me off a fair bit

RAW hasn't been good for a while. This week was no exception. I think the only time that I was entertained was when Cryme Tyme was on. And that's just because I like to laugh at black people. :shifty:

Actually, I'm laughing my ass off at the "Damn." segments. For some reason, they're reminding me of Positively Kanyon going around giving Kanyon Kutters to random workers backstage during the last little bit of WCW's run, and I always laughed at that, if only because it was so fucking random. :o

I just hope it perks up in time for the Rumble and Mania next year like it always does. Realistically this is the down time of the year then starting with Survivor Series is when the big fueds are started in motion usually..
