What Would Kevin Do? 11-01-2006 01:48 AM

Colt Cabana is the Man.

Just sayin.

How long until WWE signs him? He's on their show enough. ALthough last time it was as a fairy.......

McLegend 11-01-2006 02:52 AM

I thought that was him

What Would Kevin Do? 11-01-2006 03:01 AM

It indeed was. Plus, he's had a ton of dark/heat matches recently.

McLegend 11-01-2006 03:06 AM

What I saw of Cabana I liked.

Dave Youell 11-01-2006 04:23 AM

It amazes me that TNA and WWE haven't signed him, it really does, the guys easily the most charismatic guy on the indy scenes and is so ready for weekly TV.

Plus he's a great worker and can do comedy better than most.

Oh did I mention I was in a rumble with him once and got to work him over for 30 seconds as well, yes that's right I have a 5 star match with Colt, who wants to touch me?

What Would Kevin Do? 11-01-2006 04:32 AM

I don't want to touch you...

The last ROH show I went to, Colt did this odd reversal to a headscissor the Chris Daniels had him in... Chris got up confused and turned to the ref and said. "What was that?? Was that European??? I think that was European..."

I dunno, I thought it was hilarious.

But yeah, Colt is insanely charismatic. He's the anti-Miz. Everyone hates the Miz, everyone loves Colt.

Gulak 11-01-2006 05:31 AM

Colt Cabana sucks and he wouldn't get over in the mainstream. The comedy wrestling gets old fast. He should go back to the way he was during his feud with Homicide.

What Would Kevin Do? 11-01-2006 05:38 AM

Cabana would get over in the mainstream for being unique. How he was his Homicide, while not bad, would get him nowhere. Cabana could be huge... Except he'd never get used right in the mainstream.

Dave Youell 11-01-2006 07:46 AM

Also, why did Chris Daniels never get a call from the E?

I mean surely that guy has all the tools, I know WCW gave him a run, but that's another one of life's dissapointments

And you know you want to touch me WWKD

He doesn't suck, but he's not the charismatic god people make him out to be. He's talented, he's entertaining, but he's not the most charismatic person on the indies.

As for getting over in WWE, it would depend on how they use him. He'll be popular but he wouldn't be huge, I have the feeling he'll be stuck in Paul London terriority, unless they played up his history with Punk and made the pair a tag team again.

Who in your opinion is more charismatic then?

ron the dial 11-01-2006 08:54 AM

Colt Cabana not the most charismatic wreslter on the indies? Surely you jest. And Cabana would get over in the mainstream insanely well. He's genuinely funny (which mainstream wrestling doesn't have much of these days), and he is solid worker. I think it's only a matter of time before he gets signed up. Or at least I'm hoping so.

Gulak 11-01-2006 10:49 AM

Beef Wellington is funnier and more charismatic and can cut better promos whether both funny or serious.

Shadow 11-01-2006 12:50 PM

Yeah but Beef Wellington has alot of drug problems.

Chris Jericho. Yes, he still has ties to WWE, but the fact that he's not contracted to them makes him an independent in my book.

If I'm not allowed to use any former WWE wrestlers, then as much as I dislike the guy and I'm not taking into account his mic skills, just pure charisma, Monty Brown. He's not the most charismatic, but he's near the top.

Stickman 11-01-2006 02:06 PM

Who the hell is cold cabana.

What Would Kevin Do? 11-01-2006 03:32 PM

Jericho is not an indy wrestler. He's not taking bookings, and has pretty much said he won't take independent bookings.

Monty Brown???? Seriously......

No.

5 year old having an epileptic fit is more charismatic than Monty Brown.

What Would Kevin Do? 11-01-2006 03:39 PM

Or could at least cut a more coherrent promo.

Mr. Nerfect 11-01-2006 05:47 PM

Yeah, it pisses me off that he's not on TV at the present time.

If the WWE hired him, I'd stick him in ECW, and have him play the Christian to CM Punk's Chris Jericho. I'm predicting the return of the ECW Tag Team Championship soon, so they're going to need some face teams. The Second City Saints could provide that.

Seriously, the guy has all the tools, except one major one: Genetics.

If he were a few inches taller, he'd be on WWE programming right now, jobbing out to Randy Orton: A guy with 1/1000th his ring ability, charisma, and personality. Why? Because his daddy and grandaddy rassled.

He would, sad to say, be in the same boat Carlito was in.

Haven't heard about that. But all the great ones did at some point.
