Anyone played NFS: Carbon?

I stay with has it now. Refuses to play until he's sober or something. Nice box art, though.

Played the demo. I like Most Wanted better.

Played the demo also. Pretty much like Most Wanted. Except you get a crew and take over 'hoods.

And there's drifting. Never liked it, but it's being built into every car game.

The drifting mechanics suck ass compared to Underground 2 :(

It's really pretty, and it's an NFS game, but there's something about it that's not as good as Most Wanted. Also, the crew feature kind of kills it for me :n:

On the whole though, I would recommend it to those that have played the past 3 games.

I love MW, but I got all the way to Blacklist #10, and the game froze and I haven't saved it prior to. :(

Loads, and you can kill them by knocking pylons on them, which is fun.

Yea, cops come in swarms this time, not like in MW when they came in packs of 2 or 3, it's like 5 or 6 now. Outrunning cops is a little easier though :-\

Yeah, the problem I had with MW was that the stingers just left you 100% fucked and there was nothing you could do, other than watch the FBI form a retarded blocking technique.

Carbon looks great, the main aspect of NFS for me is the customization, not only has that improved, but also: Muscle cars :love:

Is is out for PC yet, and is there a good torrent for it.

It came out for all systems (aside from PS3 and Wii) last week, including PC.

The torrent for the PC game, however, came out the day before the release :D

Ive had 5 or 6 in a chase on Most Wanted. On 360.

I beat the game in a little over a day :o It was really fun though.

I played it on Gamecube, so I dunno :o

I wouldnt have thought what format its on would have made much of a difference tbh

I just remember that on MW, at like a level 1 heat, only a couple cops would be on you, but in Carbon, there will be like 4 or more on you.

Maybe I just have no long term memory :(
