Who is the worst Mortal Kombat character?

I'd have to go with that Mavado guy.

Destor 11-11-2006 03:05 PM

Kai easy.

Skippord 11-11-2006 04:11 PM

Bo Rai Cho

Blitz 11-11-2006 04:13 PM

Skippord is right.

D Mac 11-11-2006 04:13 PM

I like Bo Rai Cho. Puke Puddle owns.

D Mac 11-11-2006 04:14 PM

Drunken Fist :y:

Hanso Amore 11-11-2006 06:29 PM

I dont recognize the Deadly Alliance/Deception characters. They are a bastardization of greatness. They all suck......SUCK SUCK SUCK.

The worst true MK character....Curtis Stryker. I mean, there are demons, robots, kung fu masters, shaman, Gods, a guy who can freeze shit.............and a cop.....

Gimme a fucking break.

Blitz 11-11-2006 06:54 PM

Striker's fairly badass in Armageddon.

Hanso Amore 11-11-2006 11:55 PM

punching a chick in the face and running aside, he is still just a cop.

Destor 11-12-2006 03:44 AM

Kai is a faggot. You have to see this.

Bad Company 11-12-2006 04:50 AM

striker had kickass combos in MK3.
Of the original characters, I say Kano.

Hanso Amore 11-12-2006 09:16 AM

Im going to throw Kano's fan like blades at you. How dare you say that.

Thre seems to be alot of pro Styker love here....So maybe I should change my response. I gues I just didnt like him.

What about the guy covered in flies, Drahmin or whatever, he sucked ass. his wepon....his club like fist!

Boomer 11-12-2006 09:55 AM

Kobra sucks.

Outsider 11-12-2006 10:27 AM

Sonya

Russenmafia 11-12-2006 11:48 AM

Johnny Cage

Funky Fly 11-12-2006 05:27 PM

Kobra feels like something out of a third rate fighter... like Virtua Fighter 4.

Stryker was pretty terrible. Haven't played armageddon yet, so I'll hold judgement on his new look till then.

A lot of the new character in Deception and Deadly Alliance were fairly poo. But yeah, Dhramin was pretty terrible. And Hsu Hao too.

Destor 11-12-2006 05:28 PM

Hsu Hao was awesome.

Destor 11-12-2006 05:29 PM

Looked gay, but he was soooo powerful.

Kapoutman 11-12-2006 10:48 PM

I love Bo Rai Cho. I nominate Cyrax and Sektor as worst characters. I don't dig the robots/cyborg thing.

Skippord 11-12-2006 11:54 PM

Cyrax is like my favorite character and Sektor is the man

M-A-G 11-13-2006 04:56 PM

Reptile and Kai were pretty bleh.

RoXer 11-13-2006 05:23 PM

Mokap

THANK YOU

All of the Sub-Zero/Scorpion clones were pretty weak. I'm lookin' at you, Ermac.

Funky Fly 11-14-2006 12:44 AM

Ermac was a joke characterthat came about because of a glitch that caused Scorpion to sometimes show up in red and the words "error macro" to show up on screen in MK2. I'm not 100% on the exact details, but it involved one of the ninjas being red and the words "error macro".

Boomer 11-14-2006 12:59 AM

Mokap is pretty dumb

Blitz 11-14-2006 01:02 AM

I would agree if I actually considered Mokap a real character, plus the fact that he is pretty damn good in Armageddon.

You're thinking Noob Saibot.

M-A-G 11-14-2006 04:28 PM

Who was of course awesome. His scythe in part 4 =

RoXer 11-14-2006 04:28 PM

Nah, hes right.

RoXer 11-14-2006 04:30 PM

In the first few versions of Mortal Kombat, there was an option in the audit menu for "ERMACS". It was found directly under "Reptile Battles" which led people to believe that Ermac was also a secret character. His name comes from Error Macro. Electronic Gaming Monthly published a photo of what was claimed to be Ermac along with a letter from "Tony Casey" reporting an alleged encounter.[1] However, Ermac did not occur in any version. The entire concept was fan-based. There is also no naturally occurring default character palette that would provide a full swap for Ermac.

The MK crew denied that he existed in Mortal Kombat II with one of the jumbled messages that appeared at the bottom of the screen after beating the game: CEAMR ODSE NTO EXITS (an anagram of "Ermac does not exist"), and the occasional appearance of the secret character Jade with the message "Ermac Who?". The numerous rumors of his existence led to his debut as an official character in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. This is the only instance in the history of Mortal Kombat where a rumor led to the creation of an actual character. His storyline is even based off his own rumor as well and later changed to become a legit character in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Until Mortal Kombat: Deception, he was just another palette swapped ninja. Around the time of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, the creators made the choice to give all the ninjas their own look and identity.

M-A-G 11-14-2006 04:31 PM

Are you sure? I could swear that it was Noob who would give you those problems.

M-A-G 11-14-2006 04:32 PM

Oh, well, never mind. You answered my question. :o

Stickman 11-14-2006 05:29 PM

I liked Jonny Cage in I believe it was mortal kombat 3 for Genisis. He had a sick nut shot and it made a cool sound.

M-A-G 11-14-2006 05:32 PM

Cage was never in part 3, Ultimate version or not.

Stickman 11-15-2006 04:17 PM

maybe 2 then.

Jon Kano 11-15-2006 04:48 PM

Ermac fukin rules as well as others.

My personal worst(s): Kai, Bo Rai Cho, Reiko (only played DA for comparison), Sindel, Jade, and a few others I cant remember.

Joey Slugs 11-16-2006 12:32 AM

Stryker by far.

Vastardikai 11-16-2006 01:45 AM

Personal Bottom 5:

5. Lei Mei: Not even having the best ass out of all the female characters saves the fact that she is really blah, at best.

4. Kobra: Looks like a cross between Ken and Kato Kaelin, in all honesty. He was the easiest character in Deception, but I hated the god damned Machette in Armageddon.

3. Mavado: Grappling Cables? come the fuck on. And he was somehow able to almost kill Kabal (probably one of the coolest characters to debut in 3)?

2. Mokap: Missed out on DA, but when I saw him in Konquest mode for Deception, I punched him for the sole purpose that he looked like an ass. I felt better as a result.

1. Stryker: He is the ultimate chunk blower. His ending in Armageddon was relatively cool, and his new look isn't bad. But still, he's a fucking cop.

Honorable Mention: Nightwolf. The Generic Stereotypical Indian Character was tired when it was done by SF II with T. Hawk. That being said, his alternate look with the Mohawk was cool. His ending for Armageddon blew chunks, though.
