Michael LeBlanc sent this item. ... The first review of the new Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 video game is out, and posted on IGN. Here is the link. The site gave the game an 8.0 (Impressive). Two amusing options in GM Mode are 1) the ability to hire writers for better storylines, and 2) the option to send superstars to Heat and Velocity for "improved popularity" (yeah, right). If only Number 1 was possible in real life! Positives: improved control scheme, improved GM Mode, more realistic Season Mode. Negatives: outdated roster, long & frequent load times (even on the 360 version), non-aggressive AI.

When I first read that I thought it said Matt Le Blanc, was thinking Joey was going to take on K-Fed!

haha, they should have it programmed where if you hire the writers, your show becomes WORSE; just never acknowledge this until their WWE deal is up.

As for popularity being IMPROVED by going to Heat or Velocity, I really have to wonder what those game programmers were smoking, or if they even follow the WWE.

To be honest I don't like that game as much as the last one.

I don't like the controls... the loading times obviously... the season mode takes forever to do anything (although the videos look nice)... the GM mode doesn't seem as good to me this time around...

Meh, there's so much more... I'm just gonna stick with X-Men Legends 2 at the moment.

They did away with Velocity to make way for ECW.

The computer won't attack sometimes when you're most vulnerable (like when you're on the ground). The computer will just stand there and wait for you to get up.
