WWE Legends Figures

I went to my local Walmart to pick up a copy of Mick Foley's Greatest Hits & Misses, which they didn't have. Undeterred, I strolled to the toy aisle to check out some of the Wrestling Figures they have (Don't laugh, I collect them when I see good ones: An ECW Figure of Rob Van Damm, a WCW Booker T.) Anyhow, this was what I saw, the WWE Legends Series, I guess hyping Wrestlemania XX:

Undertaker
Ultimate Warrior
Andre The Giant
Bret Hart
Shawn Micheals
Hunter Hearst Helmsley

I look at that list above and the following things come to mind:

1. Where's some of the REAL Legends, like Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, and even the Rock.

2. Why is the Ultimate Warrior a "Legend." Sure, he was WWE Champion, but so was Sgt. Slaughter, Diesel, and Yokozuna. Why weren't THEY listed as Legends by this logic?

3. Ok, Bret I'm cool with, Old school Undertaker is good, Andre is perfect, Shawn I'm cool with. But Hunter Hearst Helmsley? No, not Triple H, Hunter Hearst Helmsley: the forgettable Mid-Card Blue Blood snob. The character version that was most remembered for being squashed by Ultimate Warrior, destroyed by Cactus Jack in MSG, and ran around with a man posing as a woman. Ok, if they want Triple H's midcard incarnation, why not add the Sultan, the Ring Master, or "Blue Chipper" Rocky Miavia?

4. Finally, the most aggravating thing if you actually look at this line is: the boxes for 2/3rds of the figures have pictures of the actual figure. The other 2 have pictures of the wrestler during that era. I'm better than sure that WWE can find a picture of all 6 Superstars from the era they're being portrayed. By the way, in case your curious, the two given the "Special Status" are Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Shawn Micheals. Damn, these guys even hold down other action figures...

Yes, I know this is petty and that I have no life, but hey. I figured the WWE and Jakks Pacific could have put more effort into some of their products.

They could have put more effort into the InVasion angle as well, but they didn't. Simple solution: Don't buy them.

I would consider Warrior a legend in the WWE, he wasn't as successful as they would have liked, but he did main event one of their biggest shows of all time.

Hunter is also a legend, even though he's doing harm to the company, he's still a legend. I guess they just put him in the Blue Blood gimmick because thats old, and all the other guys are from the past. They really should have had him in the look he had in 2000, because thats when he became a legend.

There are a ton more guys they could use, maybe make a figure for all the guys in the Top 50 list they put out.

The term "legend" is thrown around so much nowadays that Funaki
and The Brooklyn Brawler could be featured in the series of figures.

Funaki is a legend fool.

I went to walmart the other day and as always I go to the toy section to look at what wrestling figures are in. I saw the legends figures and noticed that Bret Hart was announced as one but I didnt see him anywhere and he was on the back of any packages. I also seemed to realize that there was an old Triple H figure. Now maybe I was reading something that was wrong but I dont remember the Triple H one being announced. Am i dreaming or did they take out The Hitman for the old crappy triple H. That really mad me angry. The Hitman is a million times better than Triple H was and still better than he is today.
