*sigh* why do people glitch in games?
 

So while i was doing some random net searches on Halo 3 and GoW, i come across this website (i believe it was gearsofwarforums.com) where its basically jus like the HiH website (high impact Halo). So as i read through the forums and people talking about how they 'cant wait to rip apart this game', it really got the thinking.
Why do people glitch in multiplayer games? Doing it in a single player campaign hurts nobody, but when you do it online, it truly kills the experience of playing online, and eventually kills off the online appeal of the game in general (Halo 2 imho).
Where does it pop up in someones head to cheat and think it makes the game all that much more fun to play? And of course the argument will go 'well if the game designers left it there, why not use it?'.
That arguement is total shit. We arent talking about some cheap ass weapon/combo that the designers put in, we are talking about an exploit that will give the player an unfair advantage. Just because you can, doesnt mean you should, and definitly doesnt make you a better player skill wise.

Those guys are just bitches who can't win in life so they secure wins in the digital world. May God have mercy on their pathetic souls as the thrill of competition wipes away and the very meaning of multiplay becomes a joke even to them. Having ruined their own gaming community they'll eventually have nobody to cheat against but themselves, this geekish enthropy will reveal them to be the true ant corpes they are when the rest of the gaming world laughs at their comedic attempt at being an infamous stable; trying without goal to be important... somewhere...

I remember seeing a flash about some dudes playing counterstrike. The non-cheaing guys were flipping out because the cheaters had shit like homing bullets, etc. So the non-cheaters get all hacked up, so the cheaters up the ante and are basically flying superman style.

I've played Metal Gear: Online like, 2 times because of that kind of shit. It's so rampant in there that it's just not fun. Every deathmatch has at least one lagswitcher in it, getting CQC'ed (thrown) from across the room, various God-power BS. I called another player on it once & reaction I got was:

The rocket jump was a glitch. No one complained about that.

There's a video out there somewhere of a kid getting his computer taken by a group of CS players and thrown into the street because they caught him cheating at a LAN party, pretty funny.

People who cheat in online games are doing it for no other purpose then getting a reaction, they are just attention whores.

As for glitchers, just sad fucks that have to exploit anthing they can find to give themselves an advantage. :foc:

I don't think cheaters are very smart to being with. Also, if a group of angry nerds grabbed my computer, I wouldn't want to do much either, because most likely you will get beat the fuck up.
