Who's going to take the title off Cena?

Edge & Randy Orton are really the only two potential canidates in my eyes. I would have it be Orton. Maybe this time, don't dick him out of a respectable run...or more on Orton's shoulders, maybe before he gets the title this time he doesn't go fuck around and dick his own career to the ground.

Bad Company 12-03-2006 08:51 PM

noone, for a long time.

addy2hotty 12-03-2006 08:56 PM

Wish I could honestly see anyone on the roster that could, but there isn't. A heel Kane could have done it, I think.

Realistically, I think everyone can see that they are going to have an Orton/Cena feud for Mania (how apt as they are best buddies, birds of a mediocre feather...), I'm gonna say Orton at Mania.

El Fangel 12-03-2006 08:57 PM

Carlito should, just like he took Cenas U.S title, on his debut, I hope they revive this lost feud.

Jura 12-03-2006 09:07 PM

I am.

McLegend 12-03-2006 09:09 PM

I could see Cena holding on to the title until like Summerslam tbh

Testicle 12-03-2006 09:22 PM

Push kenny as an Owen Hart type heel, and get him the title

Tb1 12-03-2006 09:36 PM

Cena's not going to lose the belt until 2027, to "The Queen of Queens" Triple H Jr. (Aurora Rose) @ WrestleMania 43 in front of a staggering 122 in Greenwich, Connecticut.

El Fangel 12-03-2006 09:49 PM

Thats 121 Buddy, you just convinced me not to go.

owenbrown 12-03-2006 10:14 PM

Unfortunately, it's gonna be K-Fed :nono:

If the WWE ever has a David Arquette type champion, I will stop watching

Mr. Nerfect 12-03-2006 11:55 PM

Is it wrong that I would prefer it to be K-Fed rather than Umaga?

Seriously, nothing against Edge and Orton, but I can't see either one of them doing it.

Johnny Nitro would be sweet, but more in the "look how fucked up they are, they need to put the title on this guy".

Shawn Michaels and Triple H have the best shot, in my opinion. Out of anyone on the RAW brand, anyway.

If ECW folds, Bobby Lashley could come in with Paul Heyman as his manager and do it. But I doubt that will happen.

The WWE is fucked up. They are seriously fucked. They need like, Kane to win the Royal Rumble (beating his own record of most eliminations in the process), turn into a badass, again, get Cena to be like "breeeeeeeng it on homiezzz!" and then have the ultimate mark out moment when Kane Chokeslams him three times, and gets the run with the WWE Championship he deserves.

The Genius 12-04-2006 12:00 AM

i was thinking umaga too

I'd rather it be an inatimite carbon rod than Umaga so no

Kane Knight 12-04-2006 12:06 AM

In Rod we trust.

Skippord 12-04-2006 12:21 AM

The Ride My Rod will be the greatest finisher in history

Splaya 12-04-2006 12:33 AM

Office plant should take it off of him

C-fed reference

Testicle 12-04-2006 12:46 AM

Umaga > K-Fed

Umaga winning the belt would be almost as much of a disgrace as Kfed, honestly.

Realistically, it has to be Edge or Orton since they're the only over heels on the show. Unless Cena changes to a heel or vice versa for Trips/Shawn, its not going to be anyone else short of a roster change or an absolute travesty.

He'll probably hold the goddamn belt until late 2007.

The One 12-04-2006 01:45 AM

jeritron, your avatar was just on TV. I am watching Wrestling With Shadows and he was watching that episode of Simpsons.

Lock Jaw 12-04-2006 04:25 AM

The one to take the belt will probably be UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGENE! :shifty:

Jeritron 12-04-2006 05:05 AM

Someones gonna take it to TNA and put it in a trash can on live TV.

HHH

Jaton 12-04-2006 07:29 PM

Is it sad that I had forgotten that Raw even had a champion, outside of Edge/Orton and...

Uh, who has the IC belt now? Hardy or Nitro? I can't keep up with the hotshotting. :(

Azriel 12-04-2006 07:29 PM

I say Trips

Azriel 12-04-2006 07:30 PM

and Jaton, Jeff has the IC title

St. Jimmy 12-04-2006 07:40 PM

Just seeing Umaga with the spinning-belt would SO be worth it.

El Fangel 12-04-2006 07:45 PM

Eugene with the spinning belt would be priceless.

Umaga should pull a Mr. Perfect and destroy the Spinner Belt.

Mr. Nerfect 12-04-2006 09:20 PM

Thing is, I'd choose K-Fed over Umaga, but I'd also choose Umaga over John Cena. My God, the WWE is shocking these days. :nono:

What I'd like to see:

Umaga wins the WWE Championship at New Year's Revolution, with help from...Paul Heyman? Umaga reveals that he really isn't an island savage, and that he's a sophisticated Japanese-trained wrestler. He goes under the name "Jamal", again. Paul Heyman takes Jamal over to his new promotion. I'm thinking maybe OVW, or even ROH, provided they let the WWE do this. Maybe a new developmental system would be good for this?

Jamal is the WWE Champion, and takes the belt away from the WWE. Joining Heyman in this new promotion are: Ken Doane, Johnny Jeter, Mike Mondo, Nick Nemeth, Nick Mitchell, Ken Kennedy, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Rob Conway, Nick Dinsmore, Joey Mercury, Matt Hardy, Carlito, Super Crazy, Little Guido, Tony Mamaluke, Idol Stevens, KC James, Doug Basham and Derrick Neikirk. Basically turn it into a "tired of being misused" syndicate.

Jamal throws down the WWE Championship, and claims to be the new World Champion of this wrestling organisation. Maybe some like Real Wrestling Alliance (if they can't secure an older promotion to house them)? A tournament is held on RAW leading up to WrestleMania, where a new WWE Champion will be crowned, and everything is right in the world.

At least for the time being. This would also require Heyman's departure from the WWE to be a work. Which it likely isn't.

That would be sweet. :y:

My idea was a litle out-there, but they should so use Umaga winning the WWE Championship to get rid of all the crap on WWE TV. Have Jamal snap out of the character, and have Nick Dinsmore follow in suit, etc.

Let Armando Alejandro Estrada, Eric Bischoff or Paul Heyman lead them. It'd be a nice angle.

Londoner 12-04-2006 09:22 PM

I think the real question is: Who cares?

Seriously, I think the WWE fan in me has died after the ECW PPV.

the TNA fan in me died last night as well.

Kane Knight 12-04-2006 09:46 PM

I will. *racks shotgun*

Londoner 12-04-2006 11:35 PM

I tried watching Raw tonight but haven't been able to bring myself to it...makes me feel sick inside everytime. Oh well, their loss. I doubt i'm actually missing anything.
