someone suggest a good wireless router

in the $50-$80 range. I have a Dlink Di-624 that drops connection randomly and kinda sucks with Xbox Live (i cant host matched, etc.) Sooooo....looking for a new one, gimme a clue.

Anything Netgear or Linksys

I have the D-Link DI-624 and I have no problems with connection or hosting matches on Xbox Live. You probably just have a setting somewhere that isn't right. No need to purchase a new router though.

Well its spotty. Some games can host (Halo 2, NBA 2k7) others (Gears of War) i cant seem to be able to host. As for the connection drop, thats just plain annoying. And ive tried updating the firmware, but when i do so it screws up XBL and i cant get into ANY Gears of War games. Ive DMZ'd the 360 IP as well as opened ports, and still i get these problems. Ugh.

Yeah, the only 2 bang for buck brands I'd trust.

D-Link are pretty wishy washy.

I have the Linksys Wireless-G w/ Speedbooster. I'm pretty sure it's gone down in price since I bought it, too.

wrt54g, thats what i got, and it was a BITCH to set up for some reason, had to call customer service (which i hate because i kinda take pride in knowing my shit, but this one...i couldnt figure out). Anyway, so far, works like a charm.

I've got a D-Link 604T it'll drop out randomly every few weeks but nothing really annoying.

Seriously, I have a D-Link and it kept giving me shit. I used the manual reset (hold down some tiny button on the back) once, and it's worked fine ever since (a couple of years now).
