As only really a WWE watcher my whole life, I'd say favourite memory of Nash was, as Diesel, when his music was used for his Survivor Series team (captained I believe by IRS). Marked out like the schoolboy I was. Have to say I loved his feud with Razor. Got a bit fed up with him when he was Champ (as I do with most champions TBH), but he drew easily a hundred million as Champ...

Missed most of his WCW stuff, sadly, as it wasn't on much in the UK.

But he's returned to my heart with this X-Division stuff.....I'm still laughing Mr Burns-esque at YOU'RE A GASHEAD!

The One 12-17-2006 03:16 PM

I think some of Nash's best stuff was WCW. He was easily the greatest thing about the nWo. We all know I hate Hogan in every measurable way, and personally Hall never did anything for me...but Nash...now there was money. Basically single handedly made the nWo worthwile for me.

Kinda sad that we never saw it over here, never ever got the PPV's despite WCW's dominance, Sky stuck with the WWF. I know I could get the DVDs and stuff, but it's never ever the same watching them week in, week out.

Not to be an ass, but WCW was never released on DVD.Only VHS.

Unless you count WCW stuff on the WWE DVDs now...

I've genuinely liked Nash since even before his WCW days but it got even better then. Cool or not I like Nash and you do too so in that way you are associated with me making you simply not cool enough. :D

WCW was on TNT over here from like 95-96 onwards bro.

And those vids just never get old. And I hadn't seen the pushups one so

:D

Lock Jaw 12-17-2006 03:37 PM

I concur. Nash is the man. Truly a hero for all.

That's exactly what I mean, it's ok for 'the best moments' but I'm guessing a lot of the great stuff that he did wasn't defined as a 'great moment'.

Crippla 12-17-2006 03:45 PM

Oh, I thought you gave up on the TOVO Facts.

I don't think the human race wishes to be associated with you CC.

The One 12-17-2006 03:50 PM

OK OK! CC, you can not come in here and steal Big Kev's thunder! This is all about Kevin Nash...not about how much you suck.

Does anyone remember World War 3 from 98? Man that event was fucking awesome. Jericho defends his TV Title, Bret/DDP for the US, and let us not forget, Kevin Nash winning World War 3 was just fucking awesome.

(True story, I actually turned off the TV after the battle royal because I was so wrapped up in Nash winning, I forgot Page/Hart was still left to go...lol)

Skippord 12-17-2006 03:51 PM

Alex Shelley and Kevin Nash are the best things going in wrestling today

I always had the impression it was quite behind, not on every week and they never showed PPVs. Add to that I was 14 at the time and stupid, therefore probably would have missed it anyway.

I can't suck that much if I'm getting more attention than Big Sexy. :) Anyway, yeah, I miss WW3 with the 3 ring 60 man battle royal.

Nash, El Santo and Mil Mascaras pretty much brought the Lucha style to America

Skippord 12-17-2006 04:51 PM

lol push up contest

The One 12-17-2006 05:52 PM

So, what are some dream Kevin Nash fueds?

Personally, Rock would be classic for no other reason than the promos. Also could really go for Outsiders/DX. I know it was rumored, and honestly, I think the Outsiders might be the only people on the planet DX would put their all into and possibly even lay down for. You know what, the Kliq is fucking awesome.

Dorkchop 12-17-2006 08:09 PM

The push up contest is the best one yet. Nash is fucking hilarious, but all the other guys' reactions make it even better. I finally think this is a good idea. It's allowing these guys to really develop and show some personality and individuality (Something that's very hard to do with the guys one hour a week). I'm honestly looking forward to this Thursday for more Nash and X division guys.

Seriously, the push up contest is fucking hilarious.
