Just saw this yesterday. ****ing amazing.

It's the Coen brothers' first movie, made back in 1984.

It's about a guy, whose wife is cheating on him with his employee. So, the guy hires a private investigator, and eventually hires him to kill them. Then the entire story is crazy. Bunch of twists.

The movie is basically a more disturbing version of Fargo.

The directing and cinematography is amazing. The shots look so good.

So yeah, watch it.

Yea i've been dying to see it, since it is the only Coen brothers movie I have not sen yet.

Yeah same. Finally found it at a Blockbuster last night in Long Island.

I have to watch Miller's Crossing again, at home where I can actually watch it. I only seen it at work while being distracted.

I dunno. Every other Coens movie I've seen has been like that, but not this one, for some reason.

I think it was an edited version though, because it was the restored DVD version. At the beginning, the guy was like "fully restored, with the boring parts cut out, and some good parts added".

Just saw it again. God, I love this movie. The more I think about it, the more it rules. :love:

Never actually seen it, but the script is incredibly well-written.

Sorry for bumping an old topic but I finally managed to see this movie. Wow, the Coen brothers are simply amazing, I can't comprehend how unbelievable awesome they are. When this movie was over I had like that same feeling after I watched Reservoir Dogs for the first time.

Yeah seriously, so good. I heard from a bunch of people that it is one of their worst movies and shit, but I dunno wtf they are talking about. It is incredible.

I've tried DVD retailers and stores (like Blockbuster). Haven't tried the library yet. There's still hope. :y:
