I hate any overexposed movie, really. Ads like this make me want to not see them.

I'm sick of inspirational football movies in general. Too many lately. And its not like any of them will ever top Rudy.

Yeah, I'm pretty sick of this damn movie. How is this any different than any other (usually college) football/basketball movie that has come out in the last 5-10 years?

There have been so many football movies where the entire team dies in a plane crash!

Maybe not plane crashes but the whole "overcoming the odds" is getting stale.

What other theme could you use in a sports movie?

Violence and comedy ala Slapshot.

It just seems like every year or so there's a football or basketball movie that's extremely generic. Somebody has to be able to come up with a new concept.

Yea this movie does have a cliche formula in it and everything, but you know what..it was done well with some great acting. Good movie.
