If the Giants make the playoffs at 8-8 or 7-9

I will stop watching football. Im a giants fan and I will admit wholeheartedly that they are so fucking terrible. Eli Manning is a joke. A joke with a Dave Brown-esque arm. Shockey and Burress are so overrated - same goes for the o-line. Also, isn't the main priority of a defensive unit to STOP THE OPPOSITION FROM SCORING?It would actually piss me off to see them occupy a valuable playoff seed.

Hey, don't feel bad..

Yall did hold us to only 30 points and 359 yards of offense..

Nervous Ferret 12-25-2006 08:35 AM

Well somebody is making the playoffs at 8-8

Unless Ginats, Falcons, Panthers, Green Bay and St. Louis all lose (none of the play each other :(!!!! ) then the Giants will go in at 7-9

ps go go go Green Bay :shifty:

Big Fat Mike 12-25-2006 12:16 PM

By the way, lol @ the bengals.

yeah kinda dont want the giants to make it so they can get a good draft pick. really need them to beat the skins though, can't have another split with the skins.

yeah, definitely agree with that one. And for what it's worth, I think the Giants are a far better team than what they've played during the course of the year.

Gimmick 12-26-2006 02:42 PM

San Diego Chargers.

Zen v.W.o. 12-26-2006 06:35 PM

The Giants would have been the second best team in the conference had it not been for the huge amount of injuries to their starters. I'd prefer seeing them in over those other REAL shitty teams.

The Gmen are also my faves though.

Kris P Lettus 12-26-2006 07:55 PM

But Zen, they are a really shitty team..

oh yeah I couldn't tell

The NFC is ....well, CRAP this year.

The Giants will most likely get in, even at 7-9. The only other team I can see doing anything is the Pack (if Chicago puts their starters away), 'cause the Falcons have no way in the playoffs. Bears are way too ahead of all the other teams in the division to not have the #1 seed, Saints got the #2 locked up.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-28-2006 03:50 PM

Remember before the season started everyone was flipping out when people where saying the NFC would be garbage?

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-28-2006 03:51 PM

NFC EAST DIVISON TOUGHEST DIVISION IN FOOTBALL

Eagles about to win the toughest division in football, led by Hall of Famer Jeff Garcia

DrA 12-28-2006 10:48 PM

It's not like the AFC has been that great either

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-28-2006 10:50 PM

Yeah that's true, but it's still a lot better then the NFC which is saying something

Crimson 12-29-2006 01:11 AM

I'm guilty of saying NFC East would be the toughest division. I also said the Chargers , Saints and Bears would suck and picked a Colts/Panthers superbowl.

weather vane 12-29-2006 01:23 AM

G MEN ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-29-2006 01:32 AM

Yeah I thought the Panthers would be good this year too

Atleast I didn't think the NFC would be good though WOOOOOO

DrA 12-29-2006 02:51 AM

I don't mean to brag, but I saw right through the Panther hype, mainly because I am just great.

I did ride the Dolphin hype bust, but the reason for them not being good was a huge fluke, so that wasn't my fault.

I was right with pretty much everything else except Buffalo being bad, the Jets being bad, the Patroits being sub 500, and the Saints being bad, so 27/32.

MVP 12-29-2006 02:55 AM

Imagine how much Jeremy Shockey is gonna talk after this season.

DrA 12-29-2006 02:57 AM

Well, I didn't really expect Green Bay to be a playoff contender either, but if I went back into the past and told myself that Green Bay would have a small chance to make the playoffs this week, I would not have been surprised, so that's one for me.

Big Fat Mike 12-31-2006 12:17 AM

What the fuck. Im happy that I get to see the giants play for another week , but I'm not happy about the depression I will go through when they get spanked by the cowboys/eagles/bears/seahawks ( basically whoever they play in the first round).

LORENZEN FOR STARTING QB IN 2007

Fenix122 01-01-2007 08:38 PM

bah...stupid redskins could of won that game and put the pack in the playoffs but no.

Big Fat Mike 01-01-2007 09:25 PM

LIKE THE PACKERS DESERVED IT , EITHER.
