First wrestler with regular pyros
 

Who was the first wrestler to have a regular pyro every time (or almost every time) he came out? And when did wrestling actually start using Pyros? Pretty sure Vince started it, so I'm guessing late 80s or early 90's.

That's a hard question but I do remember Shawn Michaels having pyro everytime he did that flexing thing he used to do all the time.

I was thinking it was either Michaels or Luger as the Narcissist, but I'm not 100% sure if Luger had the pyros all the time. (Pretty sure he had pyros, correct me if I'm wrong.)

I think I vaguely recall a big shot of pyro shooting up right after Luger did his big flex. I guess flexing = pyro's. I think Macho man had pyro's too.

Didn't Surfer Sting have pyro in the late 80's / early 90's?

Interestlingly enough, the wrestling pyro can be dated back all the way to Greek times when greek wrestlers would wrestle each other naked in events where the victor got to feast sexually on a little boy. The pyros were actually exported Chinese fireworks, who in return would receive greco fingertraps for their production.

From memory, Michaels and Ramon got them pretty much the same time. I think they both had them at Wrestlemania X, I can't check as I'm not allowed to watch wrestling at the moment.

I feel like DLHV or whatever the letters are in his name.... but I was looking on youtube.... Great Muta v. Hogan in the 1990's has pyro for both entrances.... not sure if it was just because it was a big deal... or if Muta always had pyro.

And Hogan likewise during his Japan days.
