The main event with Cena, K-Fed and Hogan could be a huge draw As for Evolution vs. DX, I'd like to see Edge in Evolution |

Hmm, I forgot to put Benoit, Chavo, Kennedy, Masters and The Highlanders on the card.
You know, we all moan, but I guess the WWE roster is pretty stacked nowadays. They could return to the days when WrestleMania was packed with LOADS of short matches. |
Actually substitute Kennedy for Lesnar, as it's rather doubtful Lesnar would return in time for WM.

TITLE MATCHES
World Heavyweight Championship Special Guest Referee: Stone Cold Steve Austin Ken Kennedy vs. Shawn Michaels -Kennedy wins the World Heavyweight Title from Batista at the Royal Rumble, with some assistance from some of SmackDown!'s top heels. Mr. Kennedy realises this is because they believe he can be beaten easier, which Kennedy takes offence to. He kind of does a Chris Jericho circa 2002, and talks about not being a joke. HBK wins his third Royal Rumble in his hometown, and ventures over to SmackDown!. Kennedy just snaps, and plays a psycho-heel with style role. Austin is brought in to referee for added irony, as he defeated Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIV with a special ref, plus he has also won three Royal Rumbles. Fatal Fourway Match for the WWE Championship John Cena vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. Triple H -Insert story here. Rated-RKO both decide to go for the WWE Title, Triple H is pissed off, and he is added into the match. John Cena and Triple H were opponents last year, The Game won a Fatal Fourway (albeit Elimination) Match at WrestleMania 2000, Edge is undefeated at WrestleMania, etc. You have a number of x-factors, which could carry this match storyline-wise. Extreme Rules Match for the ECW World Championship Rob Van Dam vs. Bobby Lashley -RVD wins the ECW Title in a Triple Threat Match at the Royal Rumble, pinning Test. Lashley claims it unfair because in the old ECW, RVD would need to go through both him and Test. RVD says he's got not problems taking on Bobby Lashley in an extreme environment, and Lashley says he wouldn't have it any other way. Tag Team Match Chris Benoit & CM Punk vs. Finlay & William Regal -This is CM Punk's dream match, and I must admit, I'd like to see it too. Have the maker of the fall become United States Champion, which adds an interesting dynamic for these veterans to play around with. WWE Intercontinental Championship Kenny Dykstra vs. Carlito -Kenny Dykstra defeats Ric Flair at New Year's Revolution, and he then wins the Intercontinental Championship from Jeff Hardy. After some three-way matches, and what-not, Kenny and Carlito finally meet one-on-one. Ric Flair has taken Carlito under his wing, and the San Juan Southpaw is using the Figure Four as a submission move. TLC Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship and World Tag Team Championship Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team vs. The Hardys vs. MNM -The World's Greatest Tag Team defeat D-Generation X for the World Tag Team Championship, as London & Kendrick continue their reign on SmackDown!. The Hardys and MNM continue their tension, and PL & BK offer to put their belts on the line in a TLC Match at WrestleMania if Haas & Benjamin put their titles on the line in the same match. Winner appears on both brands as the Tag Team Champions until they lose one set of belts. WWE Cruiserweight Championship Seth Skyfire vs. Gregory Helms -Gregory Helms ends The Boogeyman's undefeated streak at the Royal Rumble. His arrogance continues into No Way Out, where he issues an open challenge for the Cruiserweight Championship. Seth Skyfire answers, and proceeds to defeat the longest reigning Cruiserweight Champion of all-time. This is the rematch, to prove whether or not Skyfire's win was a fluke. Eight-Way Match for the WWE Women's Championship Mickie James vs. Victoria vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Nattie Neidhart vs. Jillian Hall vs. Jazz vs. Trinity vs. Trish Stratus -Yeah, it's a clusterfuck, but you have to admit, it'd be pretty sweet. Victoria defeats Mickie James at New Year's Revolution via disqualification, after Beth Phoenix attacks Vicky. This sets up a feud between the two, as Nattie Neidhart debuts on RAW, and makes her quest for the Women's Title known. Because Mickie James once made the promise to defend the Title against all her admirers, she offers an open hand to both SmackDown! and ECW. Trish Stratus would not be too opposed to working a match at WrestleMania, in my opinion. All the ladies in there can wrestle, and I'm sure they can come up with some nice spots. |
SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS
The Undertaker vs. Dan Rodimer -What better way to establish an young, arrogant prick than to have him challenge The Undertaker as soon as he makes his debut? I think there would be enough intrigue around this scenario, as Rodimer is pretty big, plus it'd be an interesting approach to setting up a WrestleMania match for The Undertaker. Street Fight Vince McMahon vs. Mick Foley -Many argue that Foley got his "WrestleMania Moment" last year, when Edge Speared him through the burning table. He has never arguably gotten that WrestleMania win, though. This match is rumoured to happen, so why not? Go for it, as Foley is a guy that I actually want to see Vince McMahon get into a program with. JBL Sponsored Money in the Bank 20-Man Battle Royal JBL vs. Batista vs. King Booker vs. Kane vs. Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Dave Taylor vs. Vito vs. Mike Mizanin vs. The Boogeyman vs. Test vs. The Great Khali vs. Umaga vs. Mike Knox vs. Ron Simmons vs. Gregory Helms vs. Finlay vs. William Regal vs. WWE/World Tag Team Champion #1 vs. WWE/World Tag Team Champion #2 -Weird match, I know, but here me out: JBL says that he's talked to Vince McMahon, and he's talked to Theodore Long, and he's paid for a new Money in the Bank Title Shot, and he's going to put it up in a 20-Man Battle Royal at WrestleMania. The only catch is...JBL wants to be in it, too. He offers invitations to his favourite wrestlers, such as Finlay, William Regal, Dave Taylor, Chavo Guerrero, Gregory Helms, etc., so Theodore Long balances it out by inviting some of his own talent, plus a few just to piss JBL off. Remember when Battle Royals used to be a draw? Let's go back to those days. |
