Saw Hit the Lights live with NFG, Early November, and Cartel last year. They were unfathomly great.

A lot of music is simple. Music can be simple and good. Pop punk is not good.

Blink 182's Dude Ranch is still the best pop-punk CD to date. There is no room for debate.

Some others as well.. I don't really listen to a whole lot of new punk rock, but I still enjoy the stuff from a few years ago when I was really into the genre.

Dude Ranch is definitely one of the best ever.

I'm more of an 'Enema of the State' fan myself.

Oh and, I'm suprised they haven't been mentioned, but The Starting Line's pretty amazing.

Heard a couple of Count The Star's songs. Not too bad at all.

I randomly downloaded different Punk torrents all day last week. One i got was Hit the Lights. The album is called This Is A Stick Up...Dont Make It A Murder. First time i've ever listened to them and i really like them.

Right now I'm loving New Found Glory and MXPX

"Punk"=Hair Metal. both are the "alternative" pop of the day, and both genres are pretty much ass-sucking. I think Fallout Boy is underrated by a lot of people who listen to more than say, the top ten radio and MTV. They're not really all that good, but they're nowhere near as horrible as they're made out to be, and have a few decent songs. That's a few more than I can say for most Hair Metal bands.
