Mysterio's contract to expire in May/June 2008
 

The Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that Rey Mysterio's contract with WWE is scheduled to expire in May or June of 2008. When he returns to the company in mid-2007 following his knee surgery, the early word is that WWE management will start to press him to sign a new long-term renewal. Should Mysterio not agree to a new long-term deal, it is very possible that WWE could choose to "job him out" so to speak for a full year before TNA could step up with a deal. Based on what is known at this time, TNA is very interested in signing Mysterio should he become available.

Rey was jobbed out while World Heavyweight Champion, it wouldn't be anything new for him.

Other than him milking Eddie's death, I'm a big fan of Rey. Although it's in a year, I'd actually like him to not sign. He's a cruiserweight, and the WWE doesn't let him go all out in the ring. I'd like him to go to TNA, and hopefully if/when he does, Impact will be two hours.
