Am I crazy or do these 3 singers sound exactly alike?
 

I don't really keep up with new music too much, I listen to the radio occasionally, but I am pretty much trapped in the 1998-2003 era for the most part.. So I'm sorry if these comparisons have been made before, but it's just something I figured out a minute ago.

Anyway, I couldn't help but notice that these bands all either have the same singer, or they are all good at doing whatever style that is..

I swear to god, i was listening to Triple A's Radio thing and i heard a Panic at the Disco song, but i didnt know it was them, and i said to myself " Fall Out Boy is cool ".

Anyway, they're all very generic singers in a specific nasally whine. So they do all sound alike.

From what I've heard Panic uses more electronics in their songs maybe? Glad to know I'm not just hearing things when I thought they all sounded alike... my friends swear that Panic and Fall Out Boy are completely different. :o

They are, but they virtually sound the same now. They are also on the same record label - Fueled by Ramen, which also has The Academy Is... and they sound just like FOB and Panic as well.

They're nowhere near completely different.

They're not identical, but you REALLY have to listen for the differences, something I'm not prepared to do for any reason beyond intellectual curiosity. I don't know why idiots try and justify them as different.

Panic at the Disco also come across as completely self-centred, egotistical tosspots in interviews
