Which Album Of These?

....Shall I get tomorrow?

The Crystal Method - Tweekend
Propellerheads - Decksanddrumsandrockandroll
Lunatic Calm - Metropol
Fluke - Risotto
Paul Oakenfold - Bunkka
Photek - Solaris
Photek - Modus Operandi
Pendulum - Hold Your Colour

I'm thinking Modus Operandi, but please, give input.

I can't say I've heard any of those albums, but I've enjoyed songs by Paul Oakenfold before, so I guess my vote goes to that.

Funky Fly 01-12-2007 10:42 PM

None of them.

Go and buy Vivid, by Living Color.

Bad Company 01-12-2007 10:47 PM

Hold Your Colour is a good album. Better off just downloading their mixes though.

listen to real muusic

Just John 01-13-2007 06:32 PM

I do, I listen to a huge variation of music, the only genres I dont like is indy and pop punk, and stupidly heavy metal (y'know ones that just scream, not decent metal like Megadeth, Judas Priest, Motorhead etc.)

Going through a little Techno phase at the moment, I'll slip out of it soon and go into southern rock, then mabye I'll slip back in, or go into grunge or Jazz for a while.

At the very least, d/l it. Good luck finding it, though.

Haven't heard much by Living Colour except the obvious (Cult of personality)

Kris P Lettus 01-14-2007 12:10 PM

Tweekend had one good song..

If you want Crystal Method, nothing beats Vegas..

Just John 01-14-2007 12:43 PM

Got Vegas, Keep Hope Alive is fucking great. What song is the only good one on Tweekend?

Kris P Lettus 01-15-2007 09:21 AM

The one that used to be on the Poweraide commercials..

"Listen all you mother fuckers..."

Fryza 01-15-2007 01:19 PM

'Name of the Game' which features Ryu of Styles of Beyond.

Just John 01-15-2007 01:22 PM

ohh Name of the game, thats their most well known track probably.

Kris P Lettus 01-15-2007 02:53 PM

I dunno, I hear snippets off Vegas alot..

Just John, what other "techo"-ish turntablism do you listen to??

Any Shadow or Cut Chemist??

Just John 01-15-2007 04:03 PM

I borrowed Tunnel vision from a friend about a month ago, it didn't stick around long in my head but its great to have jammin' away in the background.

DJ Shadow? I've only heard Organ Donor and Six Days, but both are pretty kick ass.

FakeLaser 01-15-2007 06:36 PM

DJ Shadow is the only "techno" I will listen to.

Kris P Lettus 01-15-2007 11:19 PM

Well, I don't listen to "techno" either.. I listen to mostly turntablism, breakbeats, alittle drum and bass, and jungle..

Shit like D-Styles, RJD2, Cut Chemist, Beat Junkies, Q-Bert, etc, etc, etc..
