BENOIT TO SEEK REVENGE ON HBK

For 18 years he has waited for the opportunity of a lifetime to become the World Heavyweight Champion. After going through 29 other men at the Royal Rumble, Chris Benoit thought he had earned his shot at Triple H for WrestleMania XX. However, last week on RAW, Benoit’s plans hit a bump in the road when Shawn Michaels interrupted his contract signing with Triple H to try to persuade Benoit to allow HBK the opportunity to finish what he has started with the World Heavyweight Champion. When Benoit refused, Michaels knocked him out cold and signed his own name to the contract to face Triple H at WrestleMania XX.

RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff said he had to consult his lawyers concerning the situation Michaels created, so the status of the WrestleMania XX match is up in the air. What is not up in the air is that when RAW comes to you live from Bakersfield, California next week, Benoit will have his shot at Michaels by order of Bischoff. One week after forcing the legendary Ric Flair to tap out, will he gain his revenge on HBK? What will happen with the World Heavyweight Championship Match at WrestleMania XX? Find out on RAW!

Also on RAW, last week, Kane learned that at WrestleMania XX, the dead will rise again, and there was a suggestion that somehow the Undertaker has been behind the paranormal events facing Kane recently from beyond the grave. Last week, it was also revealed that Goldberg was suspended from action by Mr. McMahon after attempting a Spear on the WWE Chairman. Mr. McMahon made it clear to Bischoff that if Goldberg does anything more than observe the WWE Championship Match between Brock Lesnar and Eddie Guerrero, it would be bad news for Bischoff. Okay, so I'm going to try and make a call here tonight. I forsee Benoit looking strong against Michaels, but Triple H costing Benoit the match, leaving both Benoit and Michaels, along with the fans in "shock."

Now that all of the pubescent urges are carried out, anyone know anything else about the card tonight?

All the fighting in the Raw thread a few weeks ago (when there were 2) really killed it, let try to keep this one on topic tonight.

Is anybody else expecting to see The Rock tonight? They're in Cali so I think it'll happen.
