clearing up my Google history
SO when I go to Google.com, for example if I type in a letter, it shows everything I Googled and I want that option ousted
I don't want people knowing that I Googled some naughty things :naughty: Now I'm okay with the Google menu bar up top because it has a 'clear history' link but I can't find that on the Google homepage rep for all |
Just scroll down to whatever you want gone and hit delete.

If you have FF 2.0 go to Tools>Clear Private Data>Saved Form and Search History should be checked.
On IE go to Tools>Internet Options>Clear History. That will clear all the past urls in the address bar and I think it will also clear previous internet engine searches. Blitz' idea should work too. |
thanks guys
yeah Blitz' idea worked |
What'd ya search for?

If you're using Windows, and you're talking about the search on the actual google page, that's not history, that's stored content... You get to that from "Tools" "Internet Options" "Privacy" and then "Stored Content" On this screen there should be a button to delete forms, and to delete saved passwords.
Just for future reference.... I know the newest Mozilla includes that automatically in the delete browsing content. |
