car stereo help
So my subs aren't working and I'm not sure whats wrong with them. I made sure all my connections are secure (and they were.) I keep getting the protect light on my amp coming on when I have everything going, so I thought it might be that the ground I had stopped working. I switched the ground and it didn't work. Still got it. Last time this happened to me the subs ended up being blown. Right now I have two Kicker 12" powered by a Volfhagen amp (sp?) Its hooked up with a capacitor too.
Anyone know what might be wrong? |
It's been a while since I've worked with stereos, so it may not help, but if you can draw up a block diagram, I might be able to give you some help. However, I'm very hands-on, and simply cannot picture your setup at all without either looking at it or seeing some sort of diagram (Block diagrams are pretty straightforward).
